Nora,a 13 years old teenage girl who almost had a normal life. She had a loving mother, and a father who would spend most of his time..somewhere.Her mother worked at a small café that was down 6 blocks from their small apartment. It seemed like they would have been better off without Nora's dad since he doesn't even come home anymore. At least not unless he needs money.

Nora's perspective:
I try to convince my mum to take divorce from my dad,but she still believes in him and think he will get better.why can't my mum see THAT HE WONT!?.He comes home drunk, that is when he does come home to take the money that my mum had earned with her hardship. But mum tries to tell him to stay and I just gave up trying. He pushes her to the ground and takes all of the money while my mum weeps on the floor praying to god to make it better.I sit here drawing in my sketch book and making up pictures in my mind of my perfect life.School rolls around and I legit shed a tear.i kissed my mom goodbye on her warm forehead and leave. The entrance door to my school was wide so a lot of people could get in at once.I accidentally pushed this guy and he turned around as I apologized. His ocean blue eyes stared into my jet black eyes, with a piece of his sacred golden hair across his forehead into his left eye,he looked at me with a confused looked and said in a deep voice"it's okay"as he started walking his way.At that moment,I felt like everyone near me was gone, all I could of think was him.
