a lil introduction

hello hello!!

I know this is definitely out of the blue and strange considering basically everything I've ever written, but it's something I really wanted to try out

(if you don't know me my name is Leo [after the ninja turtle,,] or Moose Mom and I typically draw and write juat whatever I fee like but here I wanted to go beyond that!)

I think I've made it clear a few times I am indeed a Christian--but before you leave at the sight of that word, I wanna make something very clear: I AM AS IMPERFECT AS ANY OF YOU! I'm not holier than you, I don't sin less than you, I don't mess up any less than you, etc. I'm just as much of a human as anybody else reading this; therefore, I hope you can recognize the fact that I will NEVER try to talk down to, discriminate, bring down, or hate against any of you who don't understand or believe what I believe! I can't guarantee I'll always sound that way or even that I can alwaya tell you in some way that doesn't sound mean or harsh or degrading, but I will never deliberately try to tear anybody apart

I won't sit here screaming "BEGONE LGBTQ+" or telling you about how we're absolute trash and too far gone for salvation and are all going to die at God's wrathful hands; you're ALL equally welcome to read what I've written here and join on the journey to Jesus!

so here's the question I wanted to start all of this with--to the believers and non-believers alike, to the people who sit in church and listen and to those who don't at all, to the ones new to faith and skeptical about God, to the seasoned Christians and atheists and agnostics and /everyone/ who comes across this:

If there is anything you would like to understand about God--His presence, His works, His methods, His love, or even His existence at all--what would it be?

I can't guarantee that I'll be able to effectively answer anything you ask there; but I can introduce you that guy you always hear the name of, either mockingly or in the name of love: Jesus.

I'm not someone who typically openly speaks about God and His creation or His Son because I considered myself extremely unqualified for the job, I didn't know how to talk about Him without alrrady having known the other person is a believer, etc. etc. But I'm gonna try my best in the ways I know how to: through my writing and art.

What I really hope to do is to give you guys a different perspective on love and what it means to love someone. Maybe you've heard God is love yet you wonder why there's so much terror in the world; maybe you know it but can't understand how pain or even sometimes feeling discriminated makes for a loving Father. 

Like I said, I'm not a professional. I am just as flawed as any of you. I would never tell you my life is perfect by any stretch of the imagination. But I hope I can show you what I've learned so far on my walk and maybe even show some of you, even just one, the path to God.
