Welcome Home Mariah

This was it, Mariah was finally home after what felt like months away from Tessa. Although in reality, it was only one week. She smiled to herself with anticipation as she closed the car door and made her way into Crimson Lights. Mariahs heart was beating and her face flushing, all at the thought of her first night back with Tessa. Despite having been together for a couple of months now, after all the drama with Crystal, the wedding and seeing Noah again, Mariah knew that this was finally their time. Their time to focus on nothing but their relationship. 

She walked out onto the patio and saw the dark haired beauty wiping down tables at the back. One of which being the same table where they had their first date. This reminder just filled Mariah with more longing and she hastened her steps toward her girlfriend. 

With Tessas back to her, Mariah took the opportunity to hug her from behind and without saying a word, Tessa knew who it was. She turned around and smiled from ear to ear, cupping Mariahs jawline with her hands, she gazed into her eyes. Within seconds she leaned in and greeted her with a kiss, one which felt as breathtaking as their first in that hotel room. Mariah let out a little moan as Tessa danced her tongue around her lips and slowly into her mouth. She couldn't help but place her hands on Tessas waist and began moving them around her body into the slight arch of her back. She felt in her touch how much Tessa missed her this week, the kiss intensified and just as they began to forget the world around them, a voice came floating in from the outside, bursting their love bubble "oh, so I take it this is the famous Mariah then?.." 

They both pulled away to look behind them to see.. 

The stunning new lady in Kyles life. Tessa smiled and walked over to the gorgeous brunette placing her hand on her arm, she turned back to say "Mariah, this is Lola! My newest friend in GC. I'm so excited you're meeting. She has been so helpful and sweet this week" 

Mariah was happy to see Tessa was settling into her new home finally, but couldn't help but feel a little jealous. She knew Lola was with Kyle, but Mariah was also with Devon when she met Tessa. "Mariah, did you hear what I said?" Tessa smirked again, tilting her head slightly to the side. "Sorry, yes I was in a world of my own after a long trip back" 

"Well well well, looks like we have a party happening here and I must have missed my invitation" Just when Mariah was thinking it was crowded enough already, Kyle swaggers in with his devilish grin "ladies, it's 6 on a Saturday, what are our plans for this evening?"  

Mariah bit her lip and looked at Tessa, she wanted nothing more than to take her back to her house and spend the night alone, with no interruptions. So of course was couldn't help but feel a little devastated when Tessa suggested a double date on the rooftop to try out their new cocktail menu. 

Lola and Tessa seemed to have really connected during the last week, giggling together as they made their way to the rooftop with their partners following behind.  Mariah was starting to get into her head, was she just being paranoid like last time? Was she turning into that crazy girlfriend already? Why didn't Tessa want a night alone? "You're doing that face again babe...where have you gone to?" Tessa waved her hand in front of Mariahs face. "Sorry, sorry, I am here. I just have a lot on my mind" "Well, lets fix that" Tessa gently kissed Mariahs lips "It's time to let your hair down, let's have a cocktail and forget about everything else" 

Before they knew it, it was 12am , the cocktails had well and truly kicked in and the group were dancing up a storm. Just as they were about to head to the bar, Kyle and Mariahs song began to play "you're not getting away that easy, come on let's dance!" Kyle dragged Mariah back onto the dance floor. She glanced over to see Lola and Tessa at the bar, in what looked to be an intimate conversation. They were both hunched over, saying something as if they didn't want to yell it over the music. Like they didn't want anyone else to hear. Tessa leaned over and whispered in Lolas ear, both smiling to each other as she moved back, still not losing eye contact. Okay now Mariah knew she wasn't being paranoid. Something was up and she was going to find out what.
