Hello! This is Jadyn! I am writing this story by myself <3 because I missed it! I may update the Eve series but I don't know if that will happen.

"Sophia!"
"I'm coming Lukey!" I shouted down to him, "Just give me one second!" I rushed to pull my hair into a bun on top of my head, praying it looked okay. With a pocket full of bobby pins, I raced down to the car.
I slid into the seat next to Luke, my baby brother. I ruffled his golden hair as he batted my hands away. I laughed as I dodged his playful jabs.
My dad smiled back at us from the front seat, "Alright, Soph, cut it out. We have to get going since.. someone-" he looked at me before finishing, "-took a little longer than they were supposed to." I melted into my seat, barely suppressing a smile.
I knew he wasn't mad. He may not know why I took so much longer, but he didn't seem concerned with it. I chose to save the explanation for later, when I could show everyone at once. Luke grumbled about his side absentmindedly and we were off. Just another day in our home.
I pulled my phone from my bag, plugging it into the car's console. Within a few swipes, I settled in and let the music roll over us.
The dark brick of my school building appeared on the horizon, jarring me from my daydreaming. The long car ride always seemed to fly by.

And that's the first chapter! I kept it really short for now. I will add on and I know this isn't the best thing you've ever read... but I hope you enjoy it anyways! I will try to get onto a regular posting schedule but that is unlikely with my life.
This will be one of very few author notes throughout this story! Just wanted to explain a few things! I'm so excited to be back! Also - if you want to help me design a cover - I would love that!
Thanks,
Jadyn
