Chapter 2-

Nine hurriedly wrapped her arms around Xion when the Omega had slumped forward, unconscious.

Gon and her looking around for Nozomu, the two of them never learning of her ability to hide in someone's shadow. The angel tsked as she moved to carry Xion bridal style holding her close as she turned away from the Deity, her wing spreading out.

"Nine, we must speak of this! Nozomu is most likely still in the girl!" Gon warned their strongest angel, their left hand holding a ball of bright light. They took a step back however when Nine glared at them over her shoulder. Her eyes a glowing sterling Silver.

"Touch her and I'll kill you. Follow me or send other angels and I'll kill them before you. I'm handling this myself." Nine told Gon with an even tone, Gon gulping in fear as Nine disappeared. Sometimes, they regretted making Nine an Angel.

Nozomu leaned against a wall as Nine appeared back at the Mansion, several eyes landing on her and the unconscious Omega in her arms.

"What did you do to our pup?!" Skylar and Alex snarled at the same time to the Angel, the Demon grinning when Skylar pinned Nine to the wall beside the one she was leaning against after Alex had taken her daughter into her arms.

"I did nothing. You let her get possessed by a Demon." Nine countered, disappearing after Skylar threw a punch at her face, The Alpha's fist going deep into the wall. Nine tightened her own fist annoyed at the Alpha's temper when ice had frozen her all the way to her waist, her hands trapped against her sides.

"You're a friend to me, Nine. But you just appeared out of nowhere with my daughter unconscious in your arms. So tell me what happened." Alex growled while carefully placing her youngest in Asher's arms, Riley whispering lowly to her little sister while brushing back her bangs. Nozomu watching the entire thing with interest.

"Xion was possessed by Nozomu. She's an ancient demon that tried killing mankind." Nozomu looked to Nine with a deadly glare. When did she ever try doing that?

"I managed to fatally wound her soon after I became an Angel and so she been possessing people throughout time. Her main possessions were in the Iwasaki pack." Asher looked at the Angel that equaled her in height, her navy-blue eyes turning Teal.

"When Hunters decided to wipe them out, the Angels and Gon decided that it would most likely eliminate Nozomu as well so we didn't stop it." The second surviving Iwasaki held her tongue as Nine continued. Her family was already gone, Xion was more important than answers at the moment.

"She survived however, and somehow managed to possess Xion. Probably for most of her life too." Nine finished, silver meeting teal.

"You telling me this is my fault?" Asher growled.

"You've been around Xion her whole life, haven't you?" Nine growled back, easily moving out of the ice and took a single step towards the Alpha holding her mate. Skylar and Alex moving one of their hands on each of Nine's shoulders and digging their claws into the flesh. Nozomu moved to cross her arms across her chest, her eyes on Xion.

"Don't blame this shit on me, Nine. You let Nozomu escape your grip. If you managed to fatally wound her, you could've killed her." Asher all but roared, Nine's fingers twitching to punch the tall wolf. Nozomu finally chuckled, the noise making Nine look to where she was hiding.

"She's right ya know. You had a perfect chance to rip my hearts out 300 years ago. So why didn't you?"

"Shadows, huh?" The other occupants in the room looking at Nine oddly. Why was she talking to a wall at a time like this?

"I am a Demon, Nine Darling."

"Why'd you release Xion?"

"A question answered with a question. I don't know, she just looked scared ya know?"

"So did you."

"Why wouldn't I be scared of you? You may be an Angel now Nine, but you still have the soul of a Human. And you Humans are evil incarnate."

Sterling Silver met Glowing Teal, Nozomu's words bringing back violent memories of Nine's years as Ishranth.
