Most people know what it's like to be sick. Constantly having a stomachache and/or throwing up or feeling like you're about to. And for most people, it DOES go away. However, for me, it doesn't. For years, I'd wake up and be in pain. Constantly feeling sick. And for years, no one knew what was wrong with me. I was just told I was fine and was sent on my way. Recently, I was told that I have acid reflux, due to stomach pains with also a burning throat for days. After given medicine, my throat would stop burning but the stomach ache and throwing up continued happening. Doctors would tell me I was fine or constipated, etc. However, I ended up going to a GI doctor. He actually wanted to help me and figure out what was happening. He believed me. At just one appointment, he already planned many tests. After multiple blood tests came back fine, I had a test called a Fructose Intolerance test. Which came back positive, meaning I DID have it.
This meant that foods, most of them, especially fruit, had fructose in it (obviously) and my body just wasnt able to handle it. It made me sick all the time, to where I would miss weeks of school. I was put on a week diet of NO fructose. And I was actually a lot better. I didn't feel sick at all. But as soon as I started introducing certain things back into my diet, I got sick. Again. Currently I cannot have ketchup, Midol, or cookies. I will continue updating on how I feel throughout this process.

Take care~
