The block of text hits me like a semi,
"I like you as more than a friend."
Muddying the pool of my mind.
It's out of the blue
And
I don't know what to say
Maybe if I ignore it'll go away
I don't want to be blunt,
I don't want to be rude,
But whatever I say might do something to you.
No one has told me "I like you" before
So I have no experience or precedent
I don't like you
I'm pretty sure
So whatever I say might hurt.
And so
I'm sorry.
