"Get them out of here, trust no one, not the army not the police no one, you'll have to do it I won't make it"

My name is Dawn perhaps it's my real name and maybe it's not I won't even give a last though you can believe what you like, I may or may not be using my real one or I might have given this book to someone else not wanting to be known to the world. One thing you can be sure of is that the story I'm about to tell you it's not mine but I know it's true. I know these characters exist. I don't care if this is considered fiction because I know the truth, just don't ask how, for I can never tell. Believe what you will, I know these people I know this story. Some of the details might be sketchy but everything was second hand I wasn't there when the story began but I'll tell you what I know. What I've heard and found out some of it I filled in, mostly it was just the conversations but also (well you'll see.) I've tried to be as accurate as possible, telling it from Elizabeth and Brandon's point of view. Including what they told me or I read in the journals I've found they weren't able to tell me much, as we only had one meeting before they had to leave. Where ever they went they didn't tell me maybe it was back into their world. Maybe they're still on ours. The one thing I can't figure out was how they got on to ours in the first place. That's something I doubt I'll ever find out but at least my story and theirs won't be forgotten. It's too... something you fill in the word become part of the story but whatever you do, don't read this story if you're not ready to forget reason, I know what happened yet, I can't ask or answer the why's or how's. Nothing is what it seems. In the end you'll have to decide what you believe.

I don't know how it started I believe it began with an army (good, evil I didn't know) shepherding the kids into big trucks, shoving, pushing, hitting some of the one's that didn't want to go. Where these kids were taken or what happened to them I don't know and I don't think I ever will. These kids were orphaned at least that's what I started off believing. The girl, Elizabeth was the teacher's aide or a teacher in training the story begins with her. She had already searched for a way out, finding only the back way clear.

The teacher was sitting on the couch. She had a long stake sticking through her and knew that her end was coming. Elizabeth nodded she was the student assistance and the next oldest everyone else had gotten out of the building except them already one was dying whatever happened had trapped the kids of The Living Orphanage on the top floor when everyone else was leaving sending a spike or really what looked to be a piece of broken tree through the window straight into Miss Deamond. "Can you do it?"

"I'll take care of them will you last a while longer"

"I'll stay as long as there are kids here," she said bravely

"then I'll take the oldest kids out first"

"go be quick and silent take them to the woods then come back for the others" her voice was pained

"raise your hand if your eleven" four boys and two girls raised their hands, but she knew that already. I've got to calm down she thought "alright the boys stand up girls while I'm gone you're going to need to watch over the kids and help The Miss okay?" The nodded showing their fear yet like her not knowing what had happened. "any one ten, eight, and seven line up by the door the oldest it's going to be your job to make sure they stay quiet while we go and after I'm gone remember" she told the little kids using a punishment they'd understand "if you make one noise time out for an hour and the one who's the quietest until I get back wins." They nodded she gave them a reassuring smile and crawled out the door motioning to the older kids to keep everyone there. She crept out of the room and saw both ways were clear she nodded and they crawled out behind her she had eleven kids, four eleven year old boys two ten year old boys two seven year old girls and one boy and a boy and girl of eight that followed her. She was only seventeen herself. Again she made them wait while she crept down the stairs she didn't know what she would do if there was someone there, she didn't know where everyone else had gone all she knew was she had to get these kids to safety. Once the reached the open she looked around there was the hedge but it only went so far after that they were out in the open. She called them all closer "alright listen walk slowly and quietly until we reach the end of the bushes then run as fast and quiet as you can until we get to the trees. When you get to the first set of trees stop just inside" She looked at the oldest boys "do not let anyone go past you" they nodded. Slowly they all walked to the end of the bushes she peeked around no one she nodded to the kids "run as fast as you can" she whispered. They ran she stayed slightly behind them making sure none fell behind, her chest burned but the eldest boys reached first and just like she asked stopped all the younger kids. "Now you guys have to stay here" she walked with them a little further so they were completely concealed by the trees. "Stay here unless someone comes then move deeper but try to stay straight so I'll be able to find you." they nodded. She walked a ways through the forest so she didn't come out where she'd left them hiding ten kids left ten more she had to take care of. What was going on she'd been told not to go to anyone the police, army, anyone just to take care of the kids. Twenty kids were now in her care. Wait minute she thought I got to calm down I can't even count straight. She climbed back up and saw the kids sitting there two were elven, three were nine, one was six, two five and one two and it was now up to her to take care of them all she saw someone coming. She went into the room and put her finger over her lips. The Miss looked at her she mouthed Someone's coming.
