An adventure of a Lifetime

Prologue

There are things in this world that is hard to explain. There are people who use all their life to pursue the unknown, to understand everything. In order to leave something, a mark per se, to say that here I am that I am alive and I was here or maybe it's just their own hobby.

Though I understand their reasoning, I don't think I can do what they're trying to do. I'd rather be low key and be someone in the background that you can easily forget. I hate being in the spotlight. And if I can help it, I'd rather be a neet and lock myself inside our house not leaving.

I am really thankful to my parents as well, for giving me an ordinary face. I am not ugly nor am I pretty, just normal. With my long dull black hair that reaches my waist, my round dark brown eyes and normal looking nose and lips. I don't have a fair white skin nor is it a golden tan, just normal. Not too white and not too tan. Coupled with my long bangs and black rimmed glasses, I pretty nailed the loser, nerdy, don't-look-at-me-I'm-just-a-nobody look.

I'm not smart nor sporty, we're also not rich. Ah~ everything is perfect. Even though I don't have anyone that I can call a friend, but I am pretty much contented with just having acquaintance. No one bullies me, no one hates me and no one likes me. I don't have any pressure of being good or excelling at something. I can just be me.

However, it all suddenly changes and it started on that particular day.

(A/N: Hi~ yes. It is rather short. And yes, the following chapters will also have short chapters, depending on my mood. This story was created randomly and when I finished my work ahead of time in the office but I still have to look like I was working, this was what I was doing. Sshhh...keep it a secret though. Hahahahaha anyway I just started typing without thinking where I am going with this.
