The Ocean

These ocean waves pull me under with the suffocation of not know where it ends or begins. These ships try to guide me and sail me to the stars but all i'm yearning for is the moon and the bright light they call the sun. But i'm so scared to burn and become just another nothing. So scared that one day I will be just nothing.

Do nothing.

See nothing.

To feel nothing.

This ocean pulls me down. Tying me to the only place it knows. The fish always by pass me wondering why this human never comes up for air. The turtles with their hard shells always ask if I need a hand and I go to reach out but the current sweeps me away. When will I just be able to float. When will the air fill my lungs and then deflate again? When will this sea stop rolling with its monstrous waves and just be calm and have me afloat like the sail boats that coats along the shores. When will I be able to breath I ask?

Never says the ocean.
