There was so much power that you held in the palm of your hand,
It bit you and cut you and scratched you and scarred you
But, you didn't mind
You liked it
The power you had over everyone
Everyone except for the one you wanted
But that girl is gone now
She ran out of your life
You thought you owned her,
When in reality she owned you
Who has the true power now?
Tell her your sorry
Or forever hold your forgiveness
Speak about her,
And you're dead
Look at her,
And you're blinded
Touch her,
.... you scar her for life
Mistakes don't just happen accidentally
They happen on purpose
Because of the power you thought you had
