The Broken Few

prologue

   3 weeks before it all happened
I woke up at my desk. The sun from the only window in the room was the reason why.
'Damn the boss needs to stop giving me the night shift,' I thought to myself 'my body can't help it if I fall asleep at this point.'
  I got up and grabbed my blue prints and walked out of the cold, damp room. I walked out to the dark hall only lit by dying led lights.
All of the other scientists just looked at me and I looked down starting to rush. Soon enough I got to the elevator. I patiently waited for the elevator doors to open.
  When they did open I immediately regretted using the elevator. The floor was grimy with dirt and blood, It smelt of mold, and I hope to dog thats not rat shit.
  When the elevator doors opened I rushed to the end of this hall. The guards opened the to large doors and I scrambled to the dirty desk with a large black chair behind it.
The creature sitting behind it spun the chair to face me. "Umm... um.. b-boss I've finshed the blueprints and n-notes," I managed to squeak out.      "Hmm good. Now listen carefully Vance if this fails, I will have your head, do I make my self clear."
"Y-Yes sir, crystal clear," I stuttered. "Good now leave. Go get some rest," he ordered in his strong German accent.
  I walked out of the large room decorated in black and red furniture and banners. The way the boss looked made my whiskers twitch. He was a German shepherd with a huge scar going across his snout he was muscular, and well in my opinion handsome, but terrifying.
I finally got to my sleeping Chambers.       I took my filthy glasses and climbed onto my cot and closed my eyes.
  Me and the boss well umm... well are friends with benefits if those are even the right words. But I know he cares about me.. right?? Right??

Day 1 of my way: I just gave the boss my blueprints and notes. I have the best idea to mix the souls and bodies. I hope he likes those ideas. This has to work. Also the boss wants to see me in two days.
