It was a chilly January evening. A man by the name of Montgomery Sheppard, the chief of police, was making his morning rounds around his quiet neighborhood when the signal in his radio started to jam.

"This is an important broadcast brought to you by the New Hampshire Police department...."

"There has been a murder at 4342 Old Troup Highway. We are to apprehend the killer of a family of four, who were having a classic family game night when the killer broke a window. So far we have found no evidence to help our case. We will put out another broadcast when we do."

And then the radio turned back to really loud pop music. Sheppard was scared out of his pants. He has never dealt with a murderer case, and the fact that there was no evidence at the scene, really made him wonder, "Who was that person, and how did they leave absolutely no trace?"
