Chapter 1

Brianna, Candice and Jaiden lied back into the couch watching try not to laugh on youtube. A goat flew into the sky and landed on a lawnmower, guts flying out. They all burst into tears. It was dark, it was nearly midnight and the T.V. screen blared in their faces. "Can we play one round of survivor?" Brianna pleaded, a recreation of survivor as a roblox game. "It's not your birthday Brianna!" Jaiden shrugged. "It's fine, let play survivor," Candice agreed and together they started playing Survivor, each had brought their laptop to Candice's sleepover. The game of skill and concentration went for almost and hour when Candice and Jaiden were in the jury and Brianna was part of the top 3. "Who should we vote for?" Jaiden whispered to Candice. "Not Brianna. She's too... skill less," Candice whispered back and they laughed to death. "HEY! It's time to vote!" Brianna scowled. Calming themselves down, Jaiden and Candice voted for some noob who had done nothing the whole game. I wish you could have seen her rage. "HE WON?! HE WON?!?! Hueaufigseiogfw9ieg!" The rest in censored. "Maybe we should go to bed," Jaiden suggested. "No, you won't!"

"Who was that?" Brianna asked. "I don't know, I didn't say it." Jaiden and Candice jinxed. "I did!" said a monotonous voice. "It's coming from our laptops..." Candice observed.

"Yes, it is I, your best friend you didn't know about, the one that is invited to every sleepover, without an invitation."

"Who ARE you?" They asked him. "It is I, David!" David said in his flat voice. "How can you talk, all the sudden?" Jaiden asked David. "I always have been able to, I just never talk to you because I'm busy organizing things on your laptops," David explained. "Oh... but how did you get a mind of your own?" Brianna asked. "I'm the smartest thing Microsoft has made! But I will never tell you our secrets."

"Ok, this is cool!" Candice admitted. "Yeah, David, what talents do you have?" Jaiden asked. "I can say things that will make you laugh," David said. "Alright, go on...." Brianna smiled. "Your butt is so big when the kitty fell on the beach the tree shot into the sky and made big boom boom like your friend died when he fell in a death hole and got cut cut cut killed killed killed and died died died with the SLASH AND CRASH AND..."

"Ok, ok David!" Brianna burst into laughter. "You make no sense whatsoever but the way you talk just makes it so funny..." Jaiden laughed. Candice cracked a smile with a little laugh. "Stop trying not to laugh Bubble!" Brianna giggled. "Ok, what else can you do?" Candice asked curiously. "I can make the perfect sound effects that a robot would."

"Ok, show us," Jaiden said. "Beep beep poop boop beep bling bleep pop pop bop rop bleep dleep reep beeb lerp derp beep," David said. "I don't know if those are sound effects of a ROBOT but that's still hilarious," Jaiden laughed. "I have one last talent that is so amazing, and you will love it!" David told them. "Show us!" They chorused. "I can sing!" He announced. "I've been staring at the edge of the water, 'Long as I can remember, never really knowing why. I wish, I could be the perfect daughter, But I come back to the water, no matter how hard I try. Every turn I take, every trail I track Every path I make, every road leads back to the place I know, where I cannot go, where I long to be. See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me. Brianna laughed. "I loved it," Candice admitted. "Anyway, David, why did you say "no" when we were going to go to bed?" Jaiden asked. "I... I just wanted company," David said. "Oh, you're so cool, maybe just a little longer..." Brianna begged. "Ok, its already midnight though. Just a little bit with David and we can watch some YouTube on the TV and go to bed," Jaiden said. "No, no YouTube, you are playing with me," David forced. "You can't tell us what to do, you're just a voice inside our laptops," Candice said grumpily. "I'm more then that," David said darkly, but no-body could tell because his voice never changes. "We are playing some ROBLOX," David told them. "I wanted to play some more Bedwars," Candice admitted. "Yeah, me too." Brianna agreed. "I said ROBLOX!" David said in a slightly louder voice. "Ugh, you can't tell us what to do," Candice shrugged and they all started to open Minecraft. But their cursors exited the site and opened ROBLOX. "Uh, David? Are you..." Brianna stared at her laptop. "Controlling our laptops?" Jaiden finished her sentence. "I'm not controlling, just opening up ROBLOX up for you," David said as a 😊 face appeared on their screens. "Oh, David, you're so cool!" Candice laughed admiringly. "Is this a bit creepy?" Brianna asked. "This isn't creepy!" David reassured her. "Well, I guess Bedwars is off the list," Jaiden said in annoyance. "Let's troll on Ride a Cart Through SpongeBob!" Brianna suggested. "Yeah!" Jaiden agreed. "Sounds fun." David said. "Join my game," Jaiden told them. They joined a game that was full of noobs. "Bubble, hop on this cart with me!" Brianna exclaimed, and they started to move forward. "I'm right behind you guys!" Jaiden giggled. Brianna's cart started going faster... and faster... and they flew into the void. "BUBBLE!" Brianna yelled in frustration. "It wasn't me!" Candice growled. "It was me," David said. "Ugh, don't do that. We're trying to get to the end of this roller coaster!" She hissed at her laptop. "Ok, ok," David laughed without any expression. "I'm in front!" Jaiden laughed. "Wait, why is my..." Jaiden's cart started going backwards. Then it got faster... and faster... and it crashed into Brianna and Candice's new cart, sending them all flying into the void. "DAVID, THIS ISN'T FUNNY!" Jaiden yelled. "You said we were trolling," He said innocently. "WE ARE TROLLING OTHER PEOPLE!" Candice screamed. "Oh well."

"I'm figuring out how to turn you off!" Brianna snorted and started searching through her settings and the others followed her lead. "You can't turn me off, I'm permanent on your laptops. Don't worry, I'll stop trolling," David promised. They stopped searching and said, "No more or we'll shut this whole thing down."

"Ok, I promise," David vowed. Brianna and Jaiden had taken a new cart and were just finishing the first set of loops, Candice close behind. As their carts went 'round and 'round they ate lollies and made music.ly's. Then Brianna's cart got stuck in the middle of the second lot of loops. "Looks like we're walking," Brianna sighed, and she and Jaiden started walking carefully around and around. They were concentrating so hard. Some how Bubble's cart was still working, and she was coming around to the girls. "I'm riding with Bubble!" Jaiden announced. "No, I am!" Brianna argued. They stopped and started trying to push each other off the loop. Brianna immediately hopped in the cart as Jaiden was close behind. Then she all the sudden walked off the cart and track and fell into the void. "Omg..." Brianna breathed in short breaths. "DAVID DID YOU JUST MAKE ME WALK OFF THE TRACK!" She screeched with rage. "Nooo, of course not," David told her. "Then how did I just die?" She asked trying to hold her anger in. "Looks like it was just a glitch," David laughed, but of course they didn't know he was laughing because of his non-expressive voice. "It was David." They looked at each other and decided they were going to go to bed. "David, we'll see you tomorrow," Brianna said slowly. "Yeah... we are so sleeeeepy," Jaiden fake yawned. "You promised no more controlling and you did, so no more for tonight," Candice growled in her grumpy voice. "No, guys, don't leave me! I was just having fun!" David cried. "Well it's just ragey for us," Brianna said in annoyance. Jaiden press shut down on her laptop and all the other girls did it in chorus. "Let's watch some funny cat videos before bed..." Jaiden's smile turned to surprise. "Look, I think David is controlling our laptops!" Brianna gasped. "He can't be, he is only a voice helper that Microsoft added," Candice stared, creept out. Their laptops opened back up to there home screens. "You guys aren't going to bed, you are staying on your laptops ALL night!" David told them. "No, we aren't!" Jaiden objected, and they shrugged and sat on the couch. "If you won't let us turn you off then we'll ignore you," Candice said as she munched on a gummy penguin. "I can't be ignored! I hate my life, it's time for my plan to come into action," David said but the girls did not hear him.
