Forget

"A close friend , was it?" Says his therapist "you know your loved one?"

The beat up figure turned in confusion "I told you I don't know"

The therapist tried to make him remember "your mind doesn't want you forgetting about this person , must be important , you forget everything about your life , but not about your love towards someone."

Not knowing what was going to happen , he tried remembering who he was and who he loved but he couldn't , however he heard about memory recovery synthesis , where you put your outer skin through torture and overall traumatising experiences which puncture the brain neurones , causing fake memories to appear , your brain reacts by thinking about everything bad that's happened and it brings back memories. However this process takes months to fully work.

"I don't care what happens , I need to know who I am and who I love!"

The medic however repeats "your body will have toxins running through your veins , it's very dangerous and you will most likely die!"

Like I said "it's worth the risk to meet my lover." "I know I don't know the person but it will be worth the 1 in a million chance to see them again!"

"Good luck" ,"btw I hope you meet the person but your body isn't stable enough for this pain and aggro!"

"Ahh my head" said the injured man , "did it work?"

"What do you mean?" Said Connor

"My memory recovery synthesis!" , you were there "remember?"

"Why would you need it , you ain't got memory problems?"

Was I just dreaming or was that reality or is this a dream because I'm sure I was in an accident , what the hell , no scars left on my body but I just saw them.

"What's my name?" Says the injured man

"You playing dumb today or are you making up stories again , your name is lee , you work at Everett towers aka you work in an office and we live in Detroit."

What the hell , I'm sure I lived in la at least that's what I remember. Wait what how do I remember that , did the memory recovery synthesis work or was that my dream. A made up reality?

"So how's Christa?" Said Connor

"Who" lee said in a confused voice

"Christa , ya know your girlfriend, your one true love.

Is this who I remembered , the girl in my paradise fake reality or if you can call it tha... Bang the building collapsed i fell unconscious

"What where am i" yelled Lee

"Your at home , you've been asleep for a while and the memory recovery synthesis went amazing. You should be able to obtain your memories soon. So you can remember who you are

"My name is lee!" Mumbled the injured man , "My name is lee" starting to get louder , "My name is lee" shouts the injured man

"How no one gets their memories so fast" says the doctor , you told me your name , I'll tell you mine , my name is dr Carson."

"Your going to have to drift back to sleep"

"Finally your awake" says connor "you fell asleep as the earthquake happened ,we're lucky to be alive.

"So the building didn't collapse" says lee in a shaken up voice

"Of course not Sherlock , we're in our apartment" says Connor
