There it was, the big sign that stood at the boarders of Riverdale. Riding past it on Y/n's motorcycle, she already can smell the settle sweet scent of maple and pine. Oh how she missed it. She had a slight feeling of uneasiness within her core upon her arrival, but she assumed that it could have been the time she had spent away. It was her home, but the long duration of her being gone made Riverdale seem a bit unfamiliar.

She rode till the North road ended at the beginning street of the South side. Her original home, where she grew up among the southern gang, the Serpents. Now that she was back, first things first, Toni. Y/n's younger sister, which is by far her main concern especially from all the time she was gone, there was lost time that needed to be made up for.
She pulled up to her old trailer home which was still standing. Propping the stand to her bike, then she walked up towards to door, since she clearly didn't have the key anymore luckily she had a spare underneath a wooden board piece of the three step staircase she had placed at the entrance of the door. Once she unlocked the door it was clear that no one moved in after she left since the key still worked on the door, but a surprise to find that her place wasn't mess like how an old house would look if it was vacated and dust building up everywhere. Suddenly Y/n heard an aggravated moan just outside of the trailer, possibly towards the sight of seeing an bike in front of their home knowing an unexpected visitor was inside.
Among entering they already began ranting about it.
"Who the hell do you think you are coming into this house?!" They demanded.

"Well as far as I know, this is my home after all. Though I do love what you've done to the place and for taking care of it of it me Toni." Y/n smirked, standing with her hands in her back pockets of her jeans. The young girl took a minute to examine the familiar face that stood before her. In shock, her eyes widen and covers her mouth with her hands.
"Oh my god!" She lunges towards Y/n wrapping her arms tightly around neck hugging her with so many heart warming emotions. Y/n embraced her younger sister. They stood for a good minute before they released each other to gasp for air after such breath taking hugs. Literally. They both go over to the couch and sit next to each other.

"I can't believe it Y/n. It's you. You're really here."
Toni began.

"I know, and you must have a lot of questions." Y/n told her.

Toni looked down towards the floor. "Well yeah. It's just, I'm so happy you're home but at the same time I'm upset that you left, and that you've been gone for seven years Y/n. SEVEN. You left without letting anyone know, left without a trace." Toni stood up and began to pace back and forth slowly as she continued. "On top of that you never called, you never wrote. People started to get the idea that you were dead, or that you abandoned the Serpents. When people would ask me what happened to you I couldn't give them an answer because I didn't know what. I mean I started to have the idea that you could possibly be dead." Y/n could see the clear beads ball up in the corners of her sister's eyes. She got up grabbed her arm and pulled Toni into a hug as she broke down crying in Y/n's arms just like when they were younger and the times she got sad.

"Shh" Y/n tried to calm her.

"It's like, I know your back but are you really? Are you the same Y/n as before?" Toni questioned sniffling up her tears and wiping them away with the sleeves of her flannel.

"Toni, it's me, I assure you. Nothing has changed. I'm still your big sister. I know I left without saying anything, and how I basically just left you." Y/n answered, placing her hand on the Toni's upper arm. Toni brushed away her hand and took a step back.

"Yeah, you did leave me. After you left I had nobody. The only ones who took me in were the serpents and they were more like family than you ever were." She recoiled. Y/n shifted her eyes away. She already felt the guilt while she was gone but the feeling of it dug deeper.
