Alyssa's POV
I woke up at around 9am, Diego had a harsh grasp on my waist, I tried to move out of his arms to go get water without waking him, but that didn't work, I turned to face him

"Diego"

I played with his hair, as a kept saying his name, until finally he woke up

"Good morning beautiful"

I start to blush, he knows calling me little things like that drives me crazy, he gives me a kiss on the forehead

"It's about time you woke up love"

"What time is it?"

"It's 9:30"

Diego still hasn't let go of me, he's slowly drifting back to sleep, I just decided to fall back asleep, I had nothing to do today, and I loved being in Diego's arms, if I'm being honest

Diego's POV
I woke up at about 12:00 in the afternoon, all I remember was Alyssa tryna wake me up, but it seems we both fell back asleep, my arms were still wrapped around her tiny figure, I always loved holding her, it felt like I was her protector, I really do love her, I just don't think she feels the same, we are best friends, so I decided I wanted to do something nice for her, I finally got out of bed, and got ready, by the time I was headed out the door, she was still sound asleep which worked out in my favor, I decided to go to Rodeo Drive, I went first to Cartier, I wanted to get her something hella nice because she deserved it, she's been there for me when nobody else was so, imma get the most special gift, for the most special girl

I walk in to the store

"Hi welcome, looking for anything in particular today?"

"I am, actually I wanted to get this girl who's really special to me something nice"

"Is this a girlfriend?"

"I wish, but no, she's my best friend actually

"Okay well, what about some sort of bracelet?"

"That sounds perfect"

The lady walks over to the bracelet case, and I follow her, there are so many kinds of bracelets but I wanted something that was extra as fuck, because well I'm extra as fuck, I was looking at all of them, and then I finally found the perfect one

The price was also extra as fuck, everything about it was extra, it was perfect just like her, I then ventured into Gucci, I wanted to get her a backpack, I already knew which one it was because I saw it online

She loves roses, and I thought this one was perfect, I was already in there so I just got her the diamond slides as well, she was talking about them, and she was gonna buy them for herself, but I got them for her because I'm a good ass best friend, I mean I wish I could say boyfriend, but ya know it is what it is

I was also just gonna take her shopping tomorrow, so I decided I would just pick up some McDonald's on the way home bc ma baby loves that, I always wish she was actually my baby, but whatever, imma still call her that tho, I got home and she was still in the room I'm guessing so I brought the bags up there, she was sitting on the bed

Alyssa's POV
Diego got home after a few hours with food and some shopping bags, I figured he probably went to the studio, but I guess I was wrong

"Hey princess"

"Hey love"

"I got these for you"

I look at him like he's crazy I know he didn't get me anything expensive, because if he did imma actually beat him, not to sound ungrateful but I hate propel buying things for me

"You got me what? Chicken nuggets?"

"No like all this stuff if for you"

"What the actual fuck Diego"

"What?"

"Why would you spend your money on me?"

"Because I love you?"

"Come here"

I look at him and throw my arms open, I stand up on the bed, and walk to the edge, he grabs my waist and pulls me in for a hug, we pull apart, and I just couldn't help it anymore, I lean in and kiss him, he has no hesitation to kiss back...
