Short stuff.

Short story.

Now let me add some context towards this. So I was told to write a short story in school so I wrote this. I like it and just decided to upload it.

The line, 'It is a dark gloomy night. I have been stuck here, hunched under this tree for a while.' Was what I was told to start the story with. So yeah hopefully you enjoy this short story.

It is a dark gloomy night. I have been stuck here, hunched under this tree for a while. After being sent out to attack Seth's army and completing that mission, I ended up being separated from the group I was sent out with. I can barely move. I'm really tired from the fight that occurred and while I was escaping after the battle, running towards the woods to hide, I was shot in the waist. I ended up limping towards a lone tree and began resting for a while. 'Hopefully someone will attempt to look for me... They have to...' Is what I thought to myself. 'Mara will find out I'm missing...' I sat down, resting my sword beside me.

Later it started raining, no one has come looking for me yet. I'm cold and feel like I'm about to pass out. I guess I'm a little thankful for this tree, it's keeping me dry and protected from the heavy rain. I began to close my eyes. The blood has already stained my clothes, they've turned from a cloudy white to a wine red. Everything fades to a pitch black.

I wake up to find myself in a room, a familiar room to be precise, and my waist seems to be covered in bandages, 'A-Am I home?...' I thought, I sat up and grunted in pain, throwing my head backwards. 'Careful. You don't want to damage yourself some more do you?' A voice, strong yet soft, feminie and a voice of a leader. I knew who this was, it was Mara. She or someone else must've brought me here. She sat down on the bed and looked me straight in the eyes. 'So?' She added, 'What happened last night?' I sat up a little, not caring for the pain and told her everything. She then stood up and smiled at me. 'Next time, be a lot more careful, Zakku.'
