Unknown POV
The frozen wind stung my ears sending shivers down my spine, the winter coat I had stood no chance in this weather. It wasn't long before snow started to fall and the sun began to dip low into the trees. Now I was desperate, if I wouldn't make it back then I needed somewhere to sleep, but this place was forest for miles. I searched tree after tree seeing if there was any coniferous trees or cave to settle in for the night. There was no way I would make it back in time, even with my speed the forest was just to dense. Ice started to gather in my paws dying the snow a vibrant shade of red. If I couldn't run then I was almost completely helpless, I would turn into prey real quick.
Quite some time later when the snow has melted-
I slowed at the sight of a fresh carcass. I was starving but it was risky if I just chowed down, so I passed the offer and ignored the sting in my mouth. Frankly I would rather go hungry than be attacked by a bear. By the time I had walked passed the carcass my nose caught onto a musky sent, and a familiar one at that. Woochul? Was he really here or was my mind playing tricks one me? Glancing back into the trees a figure approached, only a shadow but I could tell it was him. My ears perked up hearing a branch snap in the distance. Suddenly my worst fears had come into play, heaving the carcass a bear soon stood her ground, two cubs huddled up to her side. She was ready to fight.
Teeth baring, tearing flesh and claws slicing through hide like razors. The Sound of bone crunching was a constant reminder to what was happening. Leaping upon the bear Woochul had given a powerful enough bite to scare the bear off. It wasn't long before he rushed to my side.
"Alpha!" He said turning his attention to me "Alpha you need to get back, oh! Let me help you!"
"No I'm alright" I assured him.
"But Alpha your w-" he didn't even finish his sentence when I had fallen to the ground, my vision clouded. His voice started ringing in my head,
"no no no no no no no! Alpha! Alpha please! Alpha!" He shouted tears erupting from his eyes.
"Jiann!"
Before I could think my head hit the ground, my eyes rolled back and all I saw was black. His mouth still saying my name over,
and over,
and over again,
Jiann Jiann Jiann he sang
Is this really what its like to be dead?
