As Cuphead and Mugman are running home they think of what could of happened if they gave the Devil the soul contracts. "Golly! Imagine if we gave him all the soul contracts!" Stated Mugman. "We sure made the right choice!" shouted Cuphead. While they were hopping about they bumped into Elder Kettle. His face in glory of how proud he was. He kneeled down and put his hands on their shoulders. "I am really proud of you boys! But I sense a dark power near us." Elder Kettle exclaimed. Cuphead and Mugman are freaking out and they dash over to their home. They try to decipher what he meant. "Ok... What does he mean a DARK POWER?" Cuphead proclaimed. They tried to wrap around there head what he meant but they couldn't figure it out. "Maybe it could be the Devil or something?" stated Mugman. Not even 2 seconds later Elder Kettle busts in the door. "WHY!!" Cuphead shouts. "I have found one of your relatives!" Elder Kettle exclaims. As he shuffles out an old letter out of his pocket. Cuphead and Mugmans face in shock as they read the letter. "What is his name?" Mugman asks. "His name is Bowlkid." says Elder Kettle. "Is he our brother?" Cuphead asked. "Cousin." he corrected. So Cuphead went into his room to get everything he needed. They needed to find a short cut to get there because there is a hidden passage to get to it but you have to complete every obstacle in there way to get there. "Before you go, here is this magic spell book to give you a multitude of spells. But be careful, darkness is out there." stated suspiciously. So Cuphead and Mugman studied the spell book and headed out their quest to find their long lost cousin Bowlkid.
