Let Me Love You (A Diggy Love Story)

Practice

We finally pulled up to practice about 5 minutes late. NOT GOOD! Our coach made us do 25 push ups---not fun, AT ALL. After that torture, we started practicing for regionals. Last year we went all the way to nationals but we only 6th. This year we're trying to go for first or second place. I'm a flyer and so is Chrissy. Chrissy's the captain and i'm the co-captain. This year we're doing a routine that is extremely hard but I think we can do it. I mean, we deserve to win. We've been doing this since we were eight. Our all star team is really good. And no, our cheer team isn't for our school, we're an actual all star team. Our school cheer team sucks.

After cheer practice we went back to my house. It's a saturday evening and we are sitting in the house...not cool. We decided to just chill and watch a movie in my theatre. Of course I made us watch a movie with Chris Brown in it---'This Christmas' it is! right in the middle of us watching the movie Diggy texted me.

Diggy- Skype me.

Aaliyah- name?

Diggy- give me urs.

Aaliyah- LiyahGreen

Just then my macbook started ringing and then i realized I was getting a skype call. It was Diggy so I answered. I positioned the laptop right infront of Me and Chrissy. "Hey Diggy!" Chrissy said a little too loud. I glared at her for about 5 seconds. Diggy laughed and told her hey. "What y'all doing?" he asked. "Watching my husband's movie." I replied nonchalantly. I was watching Chris Brown sing at the little club place and he was getting it. My eyes were glued to the screen. Diggy was looking at me with question but I was too much in a trance to pay attention to him. "What she means is, we're watching 'this christmas' with her imaginary husband Chris" She told him. I gave her the side eye then went back to watching my movie. Diggy was laughing at what Chrissy said. They are hating on me and Chris foreal....haha.

Diggy P.O.V.

I've been on skype with Aaliyah for about 45 minutes but she was barely talking. Her eyes were glued to the movie screen like she was in a trance. I was sitting in my hotel room with Spin and Roger. We were mostly just talking to Chrissy because she didnt seem too into the movie. I'm guessing she's watched it plenty of times because of Aaliyah. Even though she wasn't paying attention to us, I couldn't keep my eyes off of her. Then out of no where Liyah got up and started singing 'This Christmas' with Chris Brown. I have to admit, it was pretty funny. Spin and Roger were practically on the floor laughing along with Chrissy. I was laughing too, but I couldn't help but notice she was actually a pretty good singer. When she was done and the movie was off she bowed to us like she was done performing or something. She had a pretty cool personality when she didn't have an attitude. She sat back down in her chair and for the first time she was actually paying attention to us. "Aye, Aaliyah, you ain't never just sung a Christmas song in the middle of April." Spin said. Aaliyah laughed then said, "If it's a Chris Brown song, I'll sing it anytime." She was looking at something on her phone and seemed very interested. "Watchu looking at?" Roger said. She popped her head up and said she was on instagram. "What's your instagram name?" I asked. She put her phone to the camera revealing her instagram name, 'LiyahGetsGreen'. I typed her name in on instagram and followed her. Her pictures were amazing. It was like she was a model. I started liking her pictures without even noticing. "Damn, Diggy. Just blow up my notifications why don't you." I really hadn't even noticed i was liking all of her pictures. "Damn, girl, are you a model? These pictures are so goood." Roger said. I clenched my jaw at the fact that he was giving her compliments. She laughed. "Yeah, kinda. I just do it for fun though, here and there." I decided to voice my opinion. "Well you need to be a professional because these are really good." She said thanks and went back to her phone. "Follow me back!" Spin exclaimed. "I already followed all of you back!" she said. "Follow my instagram too! It's @ChristinaDez" Chrissy told us. We all followed her too. Her pictures looked like she was a model too. "Y'all both need to become models foreal." I told them. Chrissy just smiled. I was looking through her pictures and seen one Justin Combs. "aye, how you know Justin" She looked confused at first and then she realized who I was talking about. "Oh, he's my cousin." Aaliyah started cheesing while still looking at her phone. "Yo fine cousin." She said under her breath. Chrissy gave her this digusted look and Aaaliyah started laughing. "What? That boy is Sexayyyy." She said to Chrissy. Chrissy rolled her eyes and Aaliyah giggled then went back to her phone.

After about 15 minutes of laughing and goofing off we hung up from skype. We didn't have anything better to do so we just went on Ustream for the fans. They're comments are funny and I love talking to them so it was cool with me. We were just answer questions in the comments then most of them turned into comment about Aaliyah. The questions were like 'Who's that girl who's instagram pictures you kept likng?' and 'Is that girl from instagram your girlfriend?' I forgot people could see your intagram activity. Shit. I decided to text Aaliyah to let her know about the situation.

Diggy- I'm on Ustream. Go on my account (DiggyTv08) and look at all the comments

After about 5 minutes later she texted me back.

Aaliyah- Don't get me caught up in your shit, Daniel.

Diggy- well what do you want me to say?

Aaliyah- idk!!! just don't say something stupid that's gonna get me killed!

Lol, she's funny. I decided to say something thaat wouldn't be a lie, but not the whole truth. "You guys are asking about the girl from instagram, her name's Aaliyah and she's Roger's friend." Roger glared at me but I pretended like I didn't notice.

Diggy- how was that?

Aaliyah- Terrible. but your fans seem to believe it so i guess it will work...

Diggy- Oh, so you got jokes...

Aaliyah- I got a few up my sleeve...

This girl is funny. I can't wait 'til this tour is over so I can see her again.

Diggy- What school you go to?

Aaliyah- *serial killer alert*.....MeadowView

Diggy- haha very funny...but foreal? I would have gone there...Where you live?

Aaliyah- Saddle River, NJ

Diggy- Foreal?!?! Me too. You must not be too far from home..

Aaliyah- So i've heard

Diggy- Stalker much?

Aaliyah- Nahh, apperantly my mom is a 'fan'...

Diggy- Lol, like mother like daughter

Aaliyah- You wish

Diggy- I really do...

She failed to text me back after then...i went back to talking to my fans. After about an hour talking to them i signed off. the clock was pushing 11:00 and we had to get to the next city in the morning so we went to bed. Right when i was about to go to sleep my phone screen started lighting up.

Aaliyah- sorry, phone died. but goodnight, from a real G.

Daniel- goodnight, from the ONLY real G. *cough* me.

Aaliyah- i'll let you have that one. okay, goodnight, from a new born jettsetter :P

Daniel- aww <333 stop it, your making me blush

Aaliyah- lol, goodnight goofball.

Daniel- goodnight, my new favorite jettsetter. (;

I didn't let it show, but i was really happy that she was becoming a jettsetter. I want to be able to share my music with her. I express myself through music, so if she listened to mine maybe she would understand who I am. For once in a long time, I went to sleep with a smile on my face.
