Just Another Love Letter

Over The Walls

Get out of your comfort zone.

You may deny it, but I can feel that you're afraid.

And I just know.

     That you think you've seen it all.

          The world, the life outside your walls.

               But you've only seen a single side of it.

Through that narrow window

     Of your comfort zone.

And here I am.

     Standing by your doorsteps.

          Waiting for the day you'd try and get out.

               Ready to accompany you for as long as I'm allowed.

Breaking through the walls

     Of your comfort zone.

True, the world may not be as beautiful

     As it was in the days of the forgotten times

And life would never be as wonderful

     As any of the music and lyrics could offer to define

Even downright unfair for all but a handful

     For the world out there may be cruel by design

But there's more to the pain and hate you'd get.

          For there's also the real life you've to experience yet.

Waiting by the doors

     Of your comfort zone.

Take my hand.

     To live, to love, to laugh and to cry. . .

          To be disappointed and to be satisfied. . .

               To get wounded and to recover after a while. . .

For only then can we ever trully say,

          "I've lived a full life."
