That One Feeling

My Backstory

I'm Joey Jackson and I'm going to tell you about my love life and my high school experience. I started off as a popular girl who had everything she could ever want but then I experienced difficult things that changed the way I felt and the way I handled my issues and situations. Before I knew it my life was in chaos and was falling part before my eyes. I know that you may think that since I'm a popular girl my lipstick messing up or my eyeshadow smearing was the end of the world but that wasn't me. You could say I wasn't your average cool girl. Anyways let's jump right into the story and start at the beginning and I guess I'll see you at the end of the book.

I'm Joey as you already know and I'm going to tell you guys about my backstory. I wasn't always the cool girl in school. I was once a nerd who had no friends and no life but I decided I wanted to change that.

When I got to middle school, I started to dress differently and act a little in a different. This made me noticeable and made people start to look at me in another way besides a nerd. This was how I met my best friend Sam and my boyfriend Blake. I still got the good grades I had always had and had acted like my normal self most of the time and I guess this was why I wasn't like all your other cool girls.

Just as I was getting popular at school, things started to get difficult at home. My dad was getting sick from drinking and smoking and was taken to the hospital several times. My dad later found out he had cancer and since he knew this instead of taking care of himself, he would still smoke and drink. A few months went by and he got more sick by the day. This was why I later started looking forward to going to school so I could get away from the depressing and negative energy.

One day I came home and my mom was gone and my dad was lying on the floor unconscious with a beer bottle next to him. I immediately called the ambulance and in a few hours they were there to take him to the E.R.. I went oh the hospital and later found out that my dad was dead due to his cancer. I cried my eyes out and headed home in pain.

Ever since that day I have worn the necklace he gave me when I was five years old. From then and on I never saw my mom ever again and even now I wonder where she would've gone. Now enough with the depressing thoughts and lets move on to the good parts of my backstory.

When I met Sam and Blake we all started off as friends. Me and Sam would always talk about girl stuff because I didn't have a mom anymore and my dad passed. Me and Blake would joke around and have fun when I was feeling down and the three of us would go places and hang out 24/7.

I later started to have feelings for Blake and I found out he had feelings about me too. One day he asked me out and I excitedly said yes. That was one of the best days of my life. All three of us still hung out and and were best friends. Life was all good.

Now that you guys are up to speed I think I can tell you guys about the Friday the 13 in October. See you guys then.
