Mourning the idea of you
i don't fall apart loudly anymore
i just go quiet
and call it growth
but inside
i am clawing at the walls of myself
am i loved?
am i leaving?
am i being left?
je me noie encore
(i am drowning again)
not in water
in silence
one pause
one shift in tone
one unanswered message
and suddenly
my body starts mourning
someone who is still here
i know it's not the end
but my heart
has never known
how to survive softly
