Heart Made Up On You

We're sitting at a restaurant. We can hear my siblings' conversation.
"Just do, what you're supposed to do" the man says slowly. He then stands up and walks over us. He makes a sign for her to leave and she stands up. I just look at her leave. My siblings leave and go into the car. We have to go no. We have to start preparing the stage. The stage that will keep them busy. The thing that'll start my criminal life. Or alike. I take my phone and send Rocky a message.
"Sorry I got you into this mess" I text.
"#X" he replies.

I go out of the restaurant and go into the car. Off the car I see a full stage already prepared. I get on it. We all start playing, as many people starts walking over us. There's soon a party in front us. Everybody distracted.

Then, the plan continues. They both get into the jewelry. He should take everything as she does as vigilant. But I see the police get into the store from here . She runs out with the bag, full of jewelry and puts it inside the car. A mess half the street. People running. Escaping. And they can blame me because of their run. We both run. We're in this trouble together. A loud bang. The window's broken. But someone's running behind us. On the run. As fast as we can. We can't stop right now. We can't. And we separate, each on a different side.

He's following me now. Her boss is following me. I keep on running. As fast as I can. But then, I'm out of his reach. Now I gotta find her. I run until we see each other. We reach the car. I sit on the passenger's. She's driving.

The highway. Lonely highway. But she stops. Her lips on mine. But something has just happened. She pulls away and gives me a quick look. I'm handcuffed. Great. She leaves the car, grabbing the jewelry bag. But I'm here, handcuffed to the car. Locked.

Sometimes life's like that. You think it's love, you heart is made up on that special person, but it was wrong. They use you for their benefit, just as this time.
