Ratchet And Clank: Beast Awaken (Book Three)

Susie's Birthday

"The day is the day" Susie would say getting out of bed and stretching happily. Would stand and get dressed for the day and going down stairs to see her parents and now 6 year old brother Kade playing with some toys. Ratchet would be playing with him, Annabell would be making breakfast for everyone, they all seem normal as always.

Susie smiles knowing her family is now not in danger now. "Morning mom, dad, Kade," she said her brother looked at her and ran up to her hugging her "morning sis," Ratchet smiles "morning birthday girl" he says Annabelle looked at them smiling "morning sweetie, breakfast is about done," she said "its your favorite to," she adds Susie smiles "yay, thanks mom." Susie said to her mom picking her brother up and spinning him around making him laugh.

The family would soon sit down and began to eat breakfast and having a good time. Soon Ratchet would stand and look to his old friend clank and to his family "okay, I believe its time for the birthday girl's present," he says and looks at Susie who was sitting across from him and smiles as well. Ratchet walks out of the room and comes back holding something behind his back, "you ready Susie?" He would ask her Susie smiles wide and nods her head. Ratchet would soon Pulled out a locket that has a family photo inside, Susie gasped in amazement. "It's beautiful!" She says taking the locket and hugs her father. "Thank
You!" she says smiling at her father.

Ratchet smiles "I'm glad you love it," he would say hugging her back. "May I go out with friends later ?" Ratchet and Annabell looked to one another and back at Susie.
"Sure honey," Ratchet says and smiles to her, "just be back in time for your birthday party," her mother Annabell says. Susie nodded and finished eating before getting up and washing oof her plate and walking up to her room to get ready for the day.

"She has grown so fast," Ratchet sighs a bit, Annabell nodded agreeing with him clank chuckles,"but she is like you, Ratchet, an adventurous teenager," Annabell giggles and Ratchet looked to clank, "well...I can't argue there," Ratchet says rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

Kade giggles a little and finishes eating and carrying his plate to the sink and putting it up before he went off to play.
Moments later Susie came down already for the day.

Sometime later, Susie wrote in her journal.
"August 5th
I had tons of fun for my birthday, I had a birthday party and cake, my uncle Alistar came over, so did my friends Diego and Kat, I'm happy that my birthday was a blast. One day I hope my birthday wish comes true, that I'll be like my father...a hero, but he started to act off a bit like he did the day in that lab,
Could 'it' be returning?"

She closes the journal and sighs deeply and worried about her father, her little brother was already asleep and everyone was already also at home in bed.

She lays back and looks at the celling of her room thinking of the lab indecent 'I wish I can stop remembering that' she thought to herself and dozed off to sleep.

Sorry for the long wait for the third book of my ratchet and clank series, don't worry I'm not canceling this at all I have no plans to I just been busy and distracted to finish the story up hope you enjoyed the longest wait ever!
