CHAPTER 1
VANESSA'S POV.
Sound of an alarm clock and a thud.
"Owwww" I groan.
Hi I'm Vanessa, the one who you just saw embarrass herself. Today is the first day of school and I don't really feel like going but my mum will give her as I quote "go to school speech" she is always like going to school is important for you bla bla bla and stuff, ugh sometimes I feel like killing myself through one of her speeches, ahh I'm even bored talking about it anyway enough of me, back to embarrassing moment.
"Vanessa Honey are you okay I heard a thud" yelled mum.
"I'm fine, I just fell of my bed" I yell back.
"what happened"she said.
"ugh its just my alarm clock that startled me" I say
"OK...well come down for breakfast you don't wanna miss the first day of school" she said cheerfully.
As I got to school my mum shouted "VANESSA AREN'T YOU FORGETTING SOMETHING" she held out her hand for a hug.
"Mum I'm not a baby" I whine.
"Bring it in" she said.
"Ugh". Then I hugged her and she started crying for no complete reason.
"Why are you crying, you are embarrassing me you know" I said.
"You know it so hard seeing my baby start school again" she cried out.
Did I mention my mum was a #Drama queen#.
"OK OK you can go home know".
As I entered school I opened my locker, but then I found out it was next to Ashley's locker, and before I could say a word "VANESSA" a girl screamed and running toward me, then we hugged.
"Ashley it's been so long".
Let me stop you there, you guys might be wondering who's Ashley, well let me tell you with a little flash back.
FLASH BACK (KINDERGARTEN)
First day of kindergarten class, I sat down next to a girl. "Hi, I'm Ashley, what's your name" she said as she held out her hand to shake me. "Vanessa, nice to meet you Ashley" we hugged and since then we've been best friends.
END OF FLASH BACK
It was the best day of my life, until last year, that year was so awful, she had to travel to Paris just for a year though, but yeah the worst year ever.
"I thought I'd never see you again Vanessa" Ashley said.
"It was only a year and you have to tell me....". School bell ring ⏰
"Come we better get to class" I said as we ran.
