" the earth without art is just eh "

The next morning Lina woke up early, so she decided to go to the Great Hall, where breakfast was waiting for her. She was in a good mood; school started and she couldn't wait to learn even more about this beautiful fantasy world. Besides, she finally got to see her friends again! Of course they sended letters to eachother, but that was not the same. Now they could at least give eachother a hug.

Kate woke up early today and decided to go to breakfast. It was a miracle that Kate was up so early, since she wasn't someone who liked mornings. She was more of an evening or night person.

While the Slytherin was walking, she suddenly heard someone who was singing a song. The voice sounded familiair, but Kate couldn't figure out who it was. Until she saw the girl, who was singing the muggle song.

Lina was singing and happily skipped through the hallways. Until she bumped into something, or someone. "I am sorry!", the Hufflepuff said and she looked up to see who she bumped into. A pair of dark brown eyes looked down at her. In a few seconds, Lina's cheeks became flame red. 'Please, tell me she didn't heard me singing!', the Hufflepuff thought.

"It doesn't matter. I'm okay, you?", Kate asked to the flushed girl. Lina told her she was fine.

"What song were you singing?", the Slytherin asked. More blood rushed to the blonde girls cheeks as she stuttered, "I-it is a muggle song."

Kate thought it was very cute that she was all flushed and stuttering. She was like a beautiful rare flower, growing in a world full ordinary ones.

"So, you're going to breakfast, huh? Mind if I walked with you?", the Slytherin asked with a smile.

"No, I wouldn't mind. You can come with me", the Hufflepuff said shyly.

So together the two girls walked in silence towards the Great Hall.

Lina cursed herself for being so shy and that everytime the Slytherin said something, blood rushed to her cheeks, so she would feel like a stupid tomato.

Once they arrived in the Great Hall, they decided to sit together by the Hufflepuff table, since they were the only two who were awake at this time.

Lina wished there was some chocolate cake, but it was too early for breakfast. And even then, there probably wasn't any chocolate cake in the morning.

Kate wasn't sure what to do. She had never felt this way before. Nervous and unprepared. She was always prepared for everything, except for this. Except for the girl who she suddenly found way too interesting.

This time Lina decided to break the silence: "What's your first subject?"

"Transfiguration. You?", Kate asked.

"Me too. But I suck at it", Lina answered with a sad smile.

"I can help you. It's my best subject. Just make sure you can sit next to me", The Slytherin said with a smug smile.

Again, Lina didn't know what to say, so she just nodded and thanked her.

After some time, other students began to enter the Great Hall. They were all glancing at the two girls sitting together. A cunning Slytherin and a kind Hufflepuff.

It is weird that it was so special to see two people from the opposite houses sitting next to eachother. Hufflepuff and Slytherin were both outsiders; they should team up together more often.
