CHAPTER- 19

Last week was super busy for her and she missed to call her di. Anika has return from New York a week back and has taken over the responsibility to take care of Shivay.

Anika's phone rang, 1st ring... no response, 2nd ring... no response... last ring... no response. The call got cut and Ishana wished to throw away her phone in frustration when her own phone rang.

"Yeah di... where were you? Don't you know to pick up the call at it's first ring?" this rude question was not intentional but she herself felt bad after that.

"It's okay Ishu... what is the matter?" Anika asked calmly.

"Di... ask Shivay bhaiya that where is Om?" she was huffing loudly in tension.

"Why? What is the matter?" Anika doubted and panicked after hearing the raise in Ishana's breathing.

"Di you just ask first" she just wanted to know that Om is fine.

"Shivay where is Om now?" Anika asked Shivay without wasting anytime understanding the devastated state of her sister.

"He is with his best friend Gauri... these days he doesn't share his whereabouts with us and is always busy with Gauri other than his own business meetings" Ishana heard Shivay's answer.

"Di... di..." she called loudly so that Anika gets back to talk to her over phone.

"Yeah Ishu" Anika replied.

"Ask Shivay bhaiya to contact Gauri if he has her number" this was a good solution.

"Do you have Gauri's number?" Ishana could analyse just by hearing the tone of Anika while asking this question to Shivay that her di is getting tensed.

"I think I have" Shivay replied and a silence followed until Anika came back to reply.

"Shivay is searching for the number... you just say what is the matter" Anika asked feeling something is definitely wrong or else a calm girl like Ishana who handles everything with a smile won't have sounded so much panicked.

"Om and Gauri went to lover's point today, yesterday Gauri only told me that when I called Om to know how is he... as usual he did not pick up my call but Gauri did and I got to know that he is busy with her and she is his best friend since childhood, she only told me about their visit to lover's point today. You know na there is a flyover near that area?" Ishu took a pause.

"Yeah" Anika quickly replied.

"A major clash between two trucks and bus took place two hours back, this resulted in clashes of few other cars as well who tried to speed down suddenly and people died... so I am... I am just..." Anika admires this amazing quality of her sister, she manages to stay as calm as possible at the time of crisis.

"Here is the number Anika" Ishana heard Shivay's voice a bit happy.

"Please call" Anika requested.

"Ringing ringing" Ishana heard Shivay replied and then after few minutes he mouthed a hello.

"Is Om with you?" Shivay asked expecting a positive answer.

"Ohh... great, give the phone to him please" the raising heart beat of Ishu started to calm down after hearing the last sentence of Shivay.

"Give the phone to me" Anika spoke out in a very angry voice.

"How dare you Omkara? Where the hell were you?" it is so unusual of Anika to speak like that and this side Ishana understood the reason.

"Di... di... calm down... di..." Ishana spoke loudly from this side so that the sound reaches to Anika and she shuts her mouth, but... alas!

"A girl who is staying at such a distance is calling you since an hour and you were so busy with your friend that you had no courtesy to pick the call up? What the hell were you doing?" Anika's voice raised more.
