He sat there. Staring out his car window. Rain drops falling and sliding down the glass. It seemed like this thunderstorm would never end. Its what it seemed like to him at least. Ever since that day he lost it all, everything seemed to fall. Rain, snow, emotions, everything fell...except for his walls.

No one had managed to break his walls. Except her. This strange woman in red. The devil you could call her. Eyes that pulled you in and pierce you. Lips that would shake your world. A sarcastic tone to everything. And a caring fallen heart that beat in pieces.

No one managed to break his walls...except her. She enticed him. Brought life to him. Have him running circles without end. Had him wrapped around her finger with a single look and a single word. "No", she'd tell him over and over again. You assume it was her favorite word.

No. He'd shiver as if he had heard it coming from her lips, jogging back memories of dances and moonlight talks. No. As if that single word would magically teleport her to him. No. He'd scream in his car hoping that by just saying it would do so. No.

But it wasn't always no. It was the giggle she'd make when he had said something funny. That laugh when she'd smack him and he'd yell in shock. That smile when he'd say something and she didn't have the words to say. Or that little blush she'd actually get when he'd sing for her. To her...

He'd sit in remembrance of the first song he'd actually had the guts to sing to her. How silent she was on the phone. How she'd reply with wow after he'd finish. Wow. He'd smile of all the times she'd have said that. Sarcastically. Genuinely. Shockingly. Wow.

He'd sit in his car. Watching the rain pour. Watching the droplets. Each one holding a small shimmering light in the lamplight. As if each drop held a memory.

Drop. It brought him to that night. The night it rained. He'd shiver as he thought of the lightning in the sky and the cold winds and heavy rain. He'd hit his head back into the seat as he'd remember his words. Remember the instance after. Remember the pain he'd felt of seeing her cry for the first time in his presence. The tears strolling down her face. He'd reach up to the glass as if reaching for her face to wipe her tears away.

He'd remember the nights he'd laughed and cried alongside her. The days he'd spend either yelling at her in anger, or sarcasm, or in blatant humor. He'd remember that fateful day. The day it all changed.

He'd start to drive as the light finally turned. He'd remember his workplace. He'd remember saying the wrong thing and looking at his phone hoping this time was like the others. He was wrong... He'd look at his phone and seeing it's over.

Time stood still. People stopped having fun. Clocks stopped ticking. The rain stopped pouring. Time around him stood still. His whole world crashed. He hadn't meant for it to turn this way. He hadn't meant for it to become this.

Time continued. He'd dropped his phone. His coworker grabbing it and picking it up off the floor, handing it to him. "Give me some time", he'd tell his buddy. "Okay", was his reply as he gave him some equipment. He'd put his gloves on. Equipment set up. "Take it easy", his buddy said. "This equipment is old, I don't know if it can withstand the force." "It'll be fine", was his only remark.

His only remark as his fist met the bag. PHUMP! The first blow. His heart beating faster. PHUMP........PHUMP.......PHUMP.....PHUMP.......PHUMP..PHUMP...PHUMPPHUMPPHUMPPHUMP! With every strike his heart beating faster and faster. His vision turning blurry as he recalled the messages. *It's over. I can't do it anymore* PHUMPPHUMPPHUMPPHUMP! His mind raced. So quickly he didn't have time to realize he'd run a redlight. HOOOOOOONNNNKKKKKK /CRASSSSSSSH\

bzzzz bzzzz bzzzz *Hey sorry i didn't get your message. I'm probably out driving or probably either in or with my own little world. 'Babe stop.' Please leave a message after the beep. BEEP* "Hey it's me, i'm sorry. It's stupid but I think we can fix it. How's that movie still sound? Call me when you get the chance...I love you...bye."
