"You're worth it" I said, quickly flashing a smile at her

Chelsea's phone rang and she quickly placed it to her ear

"Hello" "Yeah, now isn't really a good time" her voice went quieter "Okay...yeah, I'll call you later. Bye"

"Who was that?" I ask

"Oh, no one" She said

I narrowed my eyebrows at her, trying to figure out what she was hiding

"Why don't you want to tell me?"

"It's just not important" She replied, looking down

-Chelsea-

We sat at a private corner table in the restearunt. The lights were dimmed perfectly and you could hear string instruments playing. Romance at it's best

"This is so perfect Louis"

"Only because you're here" He grinned

"You're cute"

"You're cuter" he winked "So your present" he said, pulling out a small box from his suit pants pocket. A silver neckless  came flowing out of the box, covered in rhinestones

"Oh my gosh" I covered my mouth "Louis, this is gorgeous"

He stood up, walking behind me to latch the neck-less around my neck

"Not as gorgeous as you" he said as he walked back to his seat "Seriously" he continued "You look so beautiful" his eyes were sincere, and his voice genuine

"Thank you" I looked down "You look quite handsome yourself" I grinned "I really like you in a suit"

"Well it's not technically a full suit, cause I'm not wearing the jacket. Just dress shirt and dress pants"

"...Okay?" I laughed, wondering why he decided to explain that certain piece of information

"Don't laugh at me" he commented "I get nervous around beautiful girls, you know" he winked once again

--

"This filet mignon is amazing" I gush, savoring every bit of my meal

"Good" he smiles, wiping his face with a napkin "I'll be right back. I'm going to use the bathroom"

"Okay" I smiled

I looked around at the restaurant, admiring the unique sculptures placed sporadically around the venue. I then return my focus to my delicious meal

"Chelsea" I hear. I look up, trying to find the voice. A tall boy then steps right in front of my table

"Cody?" I say, shocked to see him here

"Chelsea we need to talk" he says, sitting in Louis empty seat

"Cody, I'm on a date with Louis. This is inappropriate"

"Why won't you just listen to me? He's the one that broke your heart, and now you're dating him? What are you thinking?"

"Cody, please leave" I say sternly "I don't know what on earth has gotten into you, but I don't like it. You've never acted like this before"

"I would never hurt you Chelsea. You know I wouldn't. But you decide to date Louis when you have no idea if he will just break your heart and leave you in the dust" Cody gripped my hand and leaned closer  "If you would just-"

"What the heck is going on here" Louis said, walking closer to the table. His eyes were full of anger and hurt

I quickly ripped my hand from Cody's "Louis, this isn't what it looks like at all"

"He's the one that called you earlier in the car. Isn't he"

"Yes. But-"

"If there's nothing going on, why didn't you want me to know he called?" he said quickly

"Because I didn't want you to overreact"

"Overreact? I'm on a date with you, and I go to the bathroom for a second, then little Mr. Church boy comes in and takes over. How am I supposed to react Chelsea?"

"Louis, I told him to leave. He wouldn't listen" I shook my head, reaching for his hand.

"You don't deserve her" Cody inputted "You don't even care for her. Chelsea is such a great girl, and you would break her heart in a second"

"Cody stop it" I said through gritted teeth

"Don't you ever say that again" Louis said, his eyes filling with more anger

"it's true and you know it. Your life consists of getting girls hopes up, then stomping on their hearts once you get close to them. And that's exactly what you'll do with Chelsea."

"Shut up" Louis said, curling his fists

"What's wrong with you?" I ask Cody

"Louis you have to listen to me. There's nothing going on between Cody and I"

"It doesn't look like there isn't" he said, fuming

"Look" I plead "I don't-"

"I'm leaving" Louis said, grabbing a wad of money and slamming it on a table before striding out of the restaurant

"Louis wait!" I said, tears filling my eyes

I turned to Cody "Thanks for ruining valentines Day" i say as a stray tear rolls down my cheek
