Sarah ruffled her hair, tired. A whisper. "I love you, Sarah." A groan and a shrug. "That's nice, sweetie." A boy's tears fell onto the ground. This was quite an average day for a 17-year-old Ms. Sarah Johnson. She was confessed to often, and while that may sound like a dream to you and me, it could get quite old. On that day, the unfortunate boy was an Alex, though he wasn't important. Sarah had never even seen him before the event. He had walked away disappointed, and she had become annoyed.
Sarah wasn't interested in anyone at her school. And it wasn't just because she was lesbian, of course not. There were plenty of girls, though none of them interested her. There was only one girl who could steal her heart... Sarah sighed. She just wanted to finally find the... well, the woman of her dreams. Literally. She had been having these dreams for years in which she finally met her, and they talked and laughed, and, sometimes, flirted. The woman feels so familiar as if they had met multiple times before the dreams. As if she were real. And Sarah was, in all honesty, started to begin to think she was, and that they had met.
The girl always looked the same. Black, long hair with two buns, shining blue eyes.. tan skin with the most beautiful freckles... Adorable. And her voice. Thinking about it, Sarah blushed. Her voice was high-pitched and childish, something Sarah had found adorable. She longed to meet this girl. Sarah knew she was out there, somewhere. Her name was.. Christine. Had a ring to it. Sarah kicked the dirt below her. "So much for finding her, eh?"
