Kion x fuli unwanted feelings

KIONS P.O.V

The guard and I was doing our morning report , this is were we make sure everything is fine and nothing bad is or has happened .but today was weird fuli kept looking down at her paws normally she would run ahead so she could beat us all the to the mark we would talk about were to go next in the pride lands .I kept sneaking looks at her to see if she was feeling alright but when we all decided to take a minute now this would be were fuli would tell us to not rest and to carry on but she didn't that's what made me recognize maybe she is really sad but she is always so cheerful ? I slowly came up with a plan to see what is going wrong with her . but I'm worried so much but that normal I mean she is one of my friends !

"hey guys lets just go back to the den there is nothing wrong so far and well know when there will be trouble so might as well head back " everyone nodded but fuli just got up and started to walk without disagreeing like she would normally do , I need to talk to her on the walk back ! we was halfway there and I slowly met up with her and I knew I would have to be quick to ask so she wouldn't speed up or get even more upset then she is already . " hey what's wrong , you've been acting different today ." I smiled so she would know I'm here for her to talk but I knew fuli wouldn't but the look in her eye broke my heart . she looked at me and smiled " just been stressed but its fine I can handle it " she smirked and walked off rubbing her shoulder with mine ... did she do that on purpose ? why is she so beautiful ? WAIT A SECOND !did I just call fuli beautiful ? well she is but she is my friend ! I walked into the den and decided to take a nap to get my mind off of things

FULI'S P.O.V

Meeting up with the guard is hard to do when your stressed out with the fact you never get a break from saving people but the fact I'm falling for my best friend and I cant do that its weird and kion wouldn't feel the same way as I do for him , but its fine I was sad all throughput the morning report with the gang but i swear no one noticed but if they did they didn't say anything . but when we all agreed to go back to the den I saw kion look at me confused it could be the fact that I'm not disagreeing with the fact we should go home but I think its better if I sleep more as its only 7 am and that's to early in my books . I heard someone walk next to me I look and see kion oh no he has that look in his eye that means " I know what your doing " face . "hey what wrong you've been acting different all day ?" I knew I should tell him how I felt but I couldn't I just told him I was very stressed out and to be fair I am so it wasn't a full lie anyway .

" just stressed out don't worry nothing I cant handle ." after that I smirked and bumped my shoulder into his and carried on walking away but I really wanted to look back but I didn't want him to know that I did that on purpose . I just kept my head high ad kept smiling I had shown him a little different side to me and I was happy about it .

but that wasn't the only time I had saw kion of course we would run into each other again and why wouldn't we were both in the lion guard and we both are friends . he kept looking at me as after what I did earlier that morning I felt a lot better . we was talking to king simba about letting us have today off as it was a nice day and no trouble seemd to be around , he agrred thoroght the day everything was perfect but what made it better was kion gave me a little tin yellow sunflower . I blushed and I know he saw it cause his eyes widened and then he smiled

maybe these feelings aren't so bad ..
