This isn't any imaginary sort of story, perhaps my own experience.
I was traveling to Apollo hospital for blood test.My hands and knees were numb with cold,nope!! neither it was winter nor there was any cool breeze.I was shaking my knees and then I felt like panicking to vomit.The environment was full of discomfort.
Then suddenly drawing my attention towards my left I met a stranger.He was sobbing even though no one was looking much at him but except for his friend who was try to give him condolences.My head was full of thoughts trying to search for the reason behind his tears.So I started listening to their conversation and the very next moment I realized that he has failed in his exams so he was crying like that publicly.
I wanted to talk with him but unfortunately my anxiety was holding me back.
Then my head was full of lyrics of "Not Afraid" by EMINEM.Now that sounds so funny but yeah that's what happened.
I thought of starting the conversation by simply saying "Hey"....
I thought that it's like a do-or-die situation because if I say a "hi" I will be able to change his melancholic mood or he will cry and I will be sad that I couldn't do anything even though I am too good at making people laugh like hell.
Then I said "Hi dada(brother in Bengali). It's really awkward that suddenly I am talking with a stranger"
He replied "What ?? It's okay"
I said "May I know what's the name of your hairstyle ??"
He replied " It doesn't have any particular name, it's nameless"
Then the train reached his final destination and it was the time to say a goodbye.
I replied "have a great day"
Then from the window of the train, I saw him walking on the platform with a big smile upon his face which made my day as I had become the reason behind someone's smile...!!!
I understood a thing today that we shouldn't just overthink rather we should just speak up everything we want even when it's a stranger.
Only two things can happen, firstly you will have an awkward moment and secondly that the stranger won't reply.
But guess what ?? Don't be a negative thinker everytime,you may not know what's waiting for you...maybe a beautiful experience just the way I had.😃😃
