"Hey are you okay? What's wrong" Ash asked getting closer to me.
I stared at the boy in front of me. He was with a few people. Two girls and one other guy.. I waited for him to turn around to see if I was just being delusional or if it was really him. After a while he turned around, i stared at him soaking up his features
It didn't take more than a second to draw a breath of relief, it wasn't him. Thank goodness. I felt my breathing get steadier and I started to float back down to earth
"Y/N! Hey.. what's wrong?" Ash asked again slightly shaking me. I looked at him and shook my head.
I got closer to him and hugged him, burying my head closer to his chest. He hugged me back tightly. We stayed like that for a couple minutes, I felt safe in those minutes.
I remembered shit. Not the happy cheerful shit, no, the wow my life has been a mess since I was born.
"I know what you're thinking" Ash said looking into my eyes "don't think about that. I know you can't control it but we're in the present now, you have me" he smiled and pulled me closer
"I know, thanks" I said back and hugged him again. We finally pulled away and sat down, a silence fell upon us
"So you wanna tell me?" He asked
I debated on telling him or not. "What can I say? Thinking about the past" I said lowly, picking up my arm a bit
He immediately caught on and looked worried.
"Don't worry dummy" I smiled "I was just remembering, I'm not gonna do it. Why would I? I have you Sadie and Leo what more can a girl ask for?" You know other than a steady relationship, I thought.
"It's the weekends and we start school this Monday let's have fun! No dreading the past. What's done is done and for good reason, shit happens for a reason If you did something different then maybe you and I wouldn't know eachother.. ewe I hate that" he shuttered I laughed and gave him a side hug
"Yeah, I know. And we have school in 2 days.. ugh" I grumbled
"Stop being so negative!" He said laughing. I was gonna respond when Sadie and Leo came walking towards us with tear stained eyes
"Dang what did you guys watch?" Ash and I asked
"The saddest movie ever" they sniffled
I gave them a hug and then patted them on the head
"It's just a movie" I said hoping that would make them feel better
"Yeah.. based on a true story!" Leo said
"Oh" I said trying to keep a straight face "well let's go watch a funny movie then?" I suggested
*Monday yeet*
I heard my alarm and groaned, fucking hell I hate school. I was starting my sophomore year today so that's fun. At least it's not like I'm starting In a new school.
I shut off the alarm and closed my eyes again, after a second of closing my eyes my mom came into my room
"WAKE UP! Time for school" she yelled, I grabbed a pillow and put it over my face hoping I could maybe suffocate myself
"C'mon get up" she said snatching the covers off of me
"Mom I don't want to" I whined
"Too bad, ash is almost here so hurry up" she smiled "I'm heading off to work bye honey, I love you" she walked out the door
"Bye" I said back "I love you too" I mumbled
I got up dragging my feet and got ready.

I went to brush my teeth and waited for ash to come over
I'm not excited for today.
He finally arrived and I saw Leo and Sadie in the back seat, I smiled and entered the car
"Hey buds" I said sitting down and putting my backpack aside
"Damn, I'm not ready for today" Sadie groaned
"Me neither" said ash
"You think I am?" Leo asked rubbing his eyes
"Well let's get today over with, at least we all have 2 classes together" I said, trying to bring the mood up a bit
"Yeah, gym and algebra" Leo pointed out
I have like one other class with Sadie and ash, Leo and I almost have all classes together.. almost
I personally took offense to that because Leo's pretty dumb
Once we arrived at school I saw incoming freshman walk around. I was just in 10th grade anyways so one year apart.
"What's your first period?" I asked ash and Sadie, Leo and I of course have it together.
"Uh.. I have science" Sadie said
"Hey me too!" Ash said "class 26"
"Fuck, I have class 28" Sadie laughed and groaned at the same time
The bell rang and we all parted away, well kinda.
When we entered the class our teacher told us to sit anywhere we'd like. I sat next to Leo and after the whole class settled down she started explaining things
"Okay now that we're all settled down stand up and stand against the wall, and I'll be telling you where you sit" she smiled, I heard kids groan and yes Leo and I were part of it
"Jessica, you sit there" the Mrs started saying and making kids sit where she planned them to after a while she called Leo
"Leo.. sit right here" she pointed at a desk and Leo slowly walked towards it
After a while she called my name and sadly I wasn't sitting next to him, but I was across from him YEEYEEYEE (I'm sorry)
"Noah you sit next to y/n" I heard the teacher say, I looked up in panic and looked around the class hoping it wasn't who I was thinking it was.
