chapter 5

Youngjae.

The park was not too far from Y/N's house so we just walked to her house instead of going through the trouble of calling a car or anything. It was dark outside but the lights of the buildings gave the night extra life. I thought about Y/N. She's in so much pain right now, but she doesn't show it. She never shows it but if you're close enough you see regardless. I want her to be happy, I need that for her.

We arrive at Y/N's and the eight of us pile in the door. Jackson walks straight for the fridge while Yugyeom plops himself on the couch looking like he's ready to pass out.

" Yugyeom - ah, don't fall asleep, we have to go back to the dorm sooner or later," Jaebum shakes Yugyeoms shoulder in attempt to rally him up a bit but Yugyeom just huffs out,

" we have a week off, we don't have to stay at the dorm, we can just stay here, at least for tonight." Jaebum looks at Y/N, who just shrugs.

" are you sure?" Our leader asks Y/N. She nods her head, a slight smile,

" of course, you usually spend a night or two whenever you come over. Nothing's changed." She giggles cutely a bit at the end of her sentence. She then tells us she'll grab blankets and stuff and goes to her room. I decide to go help her.

As I walk in I see her grabbing miscellaneous bedding out of the trunk at the end of her bed. She has stuff in there for us and BTS. Ours is just green while theirs are different colours. It's a good system, but it doesn't always work because none of us really pay attention to it. I'm sure Y/N is used to it by now.

I walk over to her side and begin helping her gather our stuff
" oh hey, Sunshine," she smiles. I smile back. I don't want to ruin her seemingly bright mood but I figure this is my only shot to talk to her alone for the time being. I let my smile drop slightly and remove my gaze from Y/N, I instead focus on what I am doing.

" Y/N? You seemed to be really happy today, I do know that you are happy to be out and that we are finally able to hang out after long schedules. But I also know that right there beside your happiness is pain that you've chosen not to show. You don't want to let people see you broken, but you can let it out. We all love you, your e one of our best friends, Y/N, it's okay to not be 100% okay sometimes."

I could tell she was thinking about what I said, for a moment I thought she might cry, but instead she just hugged me tight and whispered,

" I love you guys, too."

When we were done hugging we lugged the bedding into the living room. We walked in to find Yugyeom sleeping right up until Jackson suggested that we make a giant blanket fort. After those words were said, our beloved maknae perked right up and was seemingly no longer tired. We laughed at Yugyeoms excitedness and everyone agreed that a blanket fort was definitely the way to go. So that's how we spent the next hour. We even got some twinkle lights from Y/N's room.

After we got all settled in the fort, we decided to watch some movies. First we would watch a horror, then a comedy, then Y/N's favourite. Jinyoung had gone to pop popcorn but literally 5 minutes later we heard him call out for Y/N saying he couldn't find the popcorn maker, he then said he found the popcorn maker but could now not find the pop corn. Even though we've been here a million times, be still can't find things, I find it funny. Although, Y/N does move things around quite a lot, usually in her bedroom but recently the kitchen was under her reorganization attack as well.

" I better go help him, " Y/N laughed as she slowly got out of her little corner next to Yugyeom.

Yugyeom.

Not long after Y/N got up, her and Jinyoung hyung came back with big bowls of popcorn for us to split. We decided that we shouldn't have popcorn while watching a horror in case anyone jumps and spills it so we watched a comedy first. It wasn't bad but It wasn't great. The horror however was pretty good. It wasn't that scary, but it was scary enough.

I felt something, or rather someone, on my arm and I look down to see Y/N passed out with her head on my arm. She's sprawled out, which tells me that she's been asleep for a while. I laugh and decide to bring her to her room. I pick her up bridal style being gentle as to not wake her up. Mark hyung, Jackson hyung, and JB hyung, the only ones still awake look up at me,

" what are you doing?" Jackson asks.

" I'm taking Y/N to her room," I say softly as Jackson notices that Y/N is sleeping soundly. Jackson nods and I continue to walk towards Y/N's room.

I lay on her bed and cover her in her blanket. I kiss her forehead and leave the room being sure to close the door behind me.

Alright guys, I'm back. I'm sorry if you were waiting for a chapter all this time. I kinda just lost inspo for this book and it wasn't until today that I finally realised how much I miss writing this book even if barely anyone reads it lmao. Anyway, I will try to post more chapters soon. I hope you all are having a good day/night.
