"Serenity ! Come downstairs for breakfast!" I woke up to the amazing smell of french toast & bacon. I hurriedly get out of bed and put on my school uniform , put my hair in a high ponytail , brushed my teeth then walked downstairs to a well decorated table with a plate full of french toast, bacon , eggs , & mixed fruit. "Come on Serenity , you need to eat before your food gets cold." my mom said calmly. I sat down & ate my food quietly as always. About 5 minutes later , I gave my mom & dad a kiss on the cheek , then walked out the house. As I'm walking , I see a black truck pulled up aside of me , I was confused at first but I was a little scared , but then it drove away fast. I hurriedly walked to school and never turned my back.
20 minutes later ....
As I was walking back home, I noticed I seen police cars and all my neighbors outside their house being nosey , I was confused so I carried on to my house , but the police held me back. "I'm sorry little lady but you can't go further." one of the policemen said. I was taken back but I said in a low tone, "But I live here , what's going on ?" As soon as he was about to say something , I seen an all white Dodge Charger pulled up and my aunt came out the car going crazy. I was still confused. She ran to me to make sure I was okay, I just stood still. As the policeman came to us to explain , my facial expression went to confused to sad.
Present Day....
"SERENITY!......" I wake up groggily to my aunt yelling from downstairs to let me know that breakfast is ready, just like how my mom does. Oh where are my manners, I'm Serenity Wilkins , I'm 19 years old , I've been ahead of my studies in high school, I have a 4.5 GPA and I'm going to an all-black college HBCU. As you can see, I live with my wealthy aunt , she's been taking care of me for the past 15 years for now ever since my parents were murdered, it wasn't the same since but I would always go to my room & read books if I get sad all over again. Once I got up from bed , I did my morning routine , did my makeup & hair & got dressed in my plaid yellow overalls.

As I'm walking downstairs , I felt someone bumped to cause me rolling down the stairs. Oh I forgot to tell you , yes I have a cousin name Jordianna Jenkins. She's always been jealous of me because I get more opportunities around here than she does. All she ever do is skip class & go out with her ratchet friends to the mall or college parties. "Watch where you going bitch!" she mugged me while looking down at me. I got up & dust myself off and proceed to the dining room. I sat down while mugging at my ignorant cousin. "Boo bitch!" she said still mugging me. I didn't say nothing but scowl at her. My aunt came walking in the dining room with her business attire on. "Goodmorning ladies, now Jordianna , you're 18 now and you need to start looking into colleges now, you see your older cousin is doing great things with herself, going off to a great college. You need to be more like her." All Jordianna did was just roll her eyes at her. Shoot , at least try to better yourself. "Serenity , since your first day of college starts tomorrow , are you planning to move out to get a dorm or stay living here ?" "Ooh let her leave please ! I don't have to see this bitch face again!" "Jordianna! Language!" As I sit here and think about what choice do I have ? Part of me wants to stay living with my aunt but another part wants me to experience new things at my college. "I think I want to live in a dorm , but how I'm going to get furniture & food in the room?" "Don't worry about that , here." As my eyes got big when she handed me a $10,000 check in my hand , I looked at her & gave her the biggest hug of my life. "Thank you Aunt Laura." I said as I shed a tear. "Wait , so you going to give her a check but don't give me one ? I'm your daughter , not this bitch !" she said angrily. "JORDIANNA CAROLINE JENKINS ! I will NOT tolerate this language in this household! Now go apologize to your cousin RIGHT NOW!" "You know what ? FUCK THIS! I'm out of here." she said while bumping into me hard & slamming the front door. "Look sweetheart, if you need help with decorating your dorm , let me know." she said seriously. I nodded and continued to eat my breakfast in silence.
5 minutes later
As I'm finished eating breakfast , I left the house and got into my drop top matte black Jeep Wrangler. When I started the car , I get a phone call from my bestie Carnation. We been friends since I started my 9th grade year at high school. She was sticking with me & even stood up for me if Jordianna would try to put on a show in front of her friends. She's like my buddy buddy and a very important person I can really count on for anything. I picked up the phone & answered. Me: "Hey Car Car!" Carnation: "Haaaaay bisssh! What you doing sis?" Me: "Just about to leave the house to do my daily errands. Wanna come ?" Carnation: "Yea , since I'm not doing anything , I'm just sitting here bored as hell." Me: "Well I'm on the way , be outside in 5 mins okay ?" Carnation: "Aight say no mas! See you in a min." Me: "Aight bye." I hang up then proceeded my mission to Carnation's house. Then I looked at my tank and I just noticed that I forgot to put gas in my car. I pulled up to the nearest gas station and went inside to pay for the gas & 4 lollipops. I walked out to pump my gas while eating my lollipop. While I'm waiting for the price to stop , I see an all red Lamborghini pulled up behind me. As the unknown person got the car , I couldn't help but to stare. His hazel eyes that matches his light brown skin & the way he was wearing his all white Champion sweatsuit, it just look so perfect on him. I snapped out of my thoughts when the handle clicked to let me know that my gas tank is now full. I put the nozzle back & got in my car & pulled off. Lord, where has this godly creation came from ?
