Sincere above

June 2018
______________

Sincere moved around the kitchen preparing breakfast with a big ass smile on his face. Receiving the best sex of your life will have you on cloud nine and at this point sincere couldn't go any higher.

While he was all smiles reminiscing about how great last night was, Anna was down the hall contemplating what her next move was going to be.

At twenty one, she wasn't ready to be a mom nor a wife. She'd just graduated from college and landed a great job. Why not live a little before making life changing decisions.

It was then that she realized leaving was her best option since she couldn't give him what he wanted.

"Aye,where you going? I just made breakfast." Sin asked coming out of the kitchen while Anna walked through the leaving room headed for door.

"I'm leaving. I told you yesterday that I  wasn't ready for all of this." She replied with her back facing him.

"And? How you gon snatch my soul and have a nigga making you breakfast then come in here packed and ready to go? What kinda shit is that!?"

"That was break-up sex." Sin laughed to keep himself from flipping the fuck out.

"Sincere I'm tired of feeling pressured. We're moving way too fast and I can't keep up. Every conversation we have starts and ends with babies and marriage amongst other shit I don't want right now. If you can't respect the fact I got dreams and goals I want to reach before making big decisions like that then I'll move on."

Sin gave a dry chuckle while stroking his beard. "Pressured? That's funny. Seeing that I ain't been nun but patient with you. Through school, yo family shit and the fact that I was yo fucking bitch for damn near five months before you took me serious. I put yo needs and wants first above my own and I can't talk to you about the future I see with you without yo ass running from me!"

Anna jumped slightly surprised by the anger and base in his voice. He was always soft and gentle with her. " I -" Anna began but was cut off by the boom of sin's voice.

"The level of respect and love I have for you is crazy bruh. I'd die for you man. In a fucking heart beat, but you can't even commit to meeting my friends and family without finding some last minute excuse. You talking about goals and dreams, I ain't got nun against u being ambitious but I should be a priority like I make you."

"You are a priority. And it's not my fault stuff come up when yo people having a get together." She replied turning to face him.

"That's bullshit and you know it." He said. "Keep playing with me Nianna, talking about moving on like I want fuck shit up behind you. But if you wanna go, bye." He said opening the door.

And just like that she was gone. Without sparing him a second glance.

He couldn't believe this shit. He walked  into the kitchen and threw all the food he made away since he didn't have an appetite anymore.

'This was not supposed to happen.' He thought pulling out the 18 carat diamond ring he purchased a few months back.

He stood in the door way of his room staring at the ring as it laid in the palm of his hand.

How could she make his night just to ruin his day.

"Yo nigga, slow down!" Jai exclaimed snapping me back to reality seeing that I just emptied two clips into the target.

I placed the guns on the bar and pressed the red button to see the damage I did to my shooting target.

"Damn nigga! What that lil paper do to you?" Jai questioned standing beside me looking at the big gaping wholes on my target paper.

I shrugged my shoulders while taking it down and reloading my guns.

"Mayne, I ain't all the way here today." I said aiming my gun at the fresh target.

"Obviously. This got anything to do with Nianna?" He asked.

I sighed. "Yeah man, we got into it about a week ago and she dipped on a nigga."

"Say, don't wait on her to come around make the first move." He said facing me briefly before firing off on his target.

"I been reaching out to her but she avoiding me like the plague. Ion know what else to do." I said putting the safety on my guns and placing em in the case.

"I'm sure you can think of some, just be creative and do something that'll get her attention." He replied while putting his gun in his holster and looking over paper target.

"Ight nigga." I said dapping him up as we walked out of the gin range headed to our cars.

"Cool, but don't call me when you wanna go shooting till this shit worked out. Yo ass coulda killed me." He replied dramatically.

"Whatever man, catch you later." I said laughing while getting in my car.

I drove for hours without a destination thinking heavily on my predicament. Several scenarios ran through my mind, but I finally came to the conclusion that being passive and waiting it out wasn't the answer. If I wanted my woman back in my arms I'd have to face the music and go to her unexpected.

I pulled up to her condo in uptown Dallas, parking my matte black on black chevy truck next to her 2017 Toyota Avalon. After locking my doors, I climbed the three flights of stairs that brought me to her floor and used my key to unlock the door.

The fresh scent of lavender caressed my nose as I entered her home. I closed the door, removed my jacket, and laid my keys on the counter before following the muffled sounds of music into her bedroom.

I slipped out if my shoes and walked into the bathroom. There she was, eyes closed listening to SZA's 'The Weekend', while submerged in a tub filled with bubbles. I stood in the door way admiring her beauty and wondering how long it'd be until she noticed me.

Two minutes passed before she opened those beautiful eyes of hers and screamed in surprise jumping slightly causing the water to splash a bit.

"What the fuck!" She screamed placing her hand on her chest as it moved up and down rapidly. "You ever heard of knocking or calling?! Damn near gave me a heart attack."

"You know damn well you wasn't gonna answer the call so why waste the time?" I questioned, coming further into the room leaning on the counter.

"The point is you shouldn't be here. And how you get in anyway?"

"My key." I said simply.

She glared at me before rolling her eyes and mumbling words under her breathe.

We gon it this shit worked out tonight because I'm not going another day without her .
