"Breaking news, a meteor is going to hit the earth in a day. It is expected that that will be our last day on earth. Goodbye everyone." That was all the news said.
America stared at the screen in shock. He couldn't be the hero. He couldn't save anyone this time. He called his brother and the rest of the world. Germany called an emergency meeting.
About eight hours later.
All the nation's were talking in the meeting room. They were all distraught. Some of them were crying, while others just stared at the ground. Italy had an idea and said "What if we sing a world version of Marukaite chikyuu."
The countries liked the idea. Germany moved the table and told everyone to get into a circle and hold hands. They started to sing,
"Hey, hey everyone
Does anyone want wine
Hey, hey everyone, hey, hey everyone
No matter what we do, we can't forget
That taste of bologna won't get out of my head"
The countries raised their arms and continued singing,
"Draw a circle, that's the earth
Draw a circle, that's the earth
Draw a circle, that's the earth
The nations of the world."
By now all the countries were crying.
"Draw a circle, that's the earth
Stare a while, that's the earth
Lie on your back, that's the earth
The nations of the world."
The countries scoot closer to one another
"Ah, what a wonderful world can be seen through the stroke of a single brush
and now, we can toast for peace
The nations of the world."
The meteor hits and everyone dies. As the countries faded they said all together,
"Thank you."
