Ch 20: Saving Eri - Part 7

But all she did was watch with wide eyes.

Back on the battlefield, Chisaki spoke with an annoyed tone in his voice. "Honestly...although it's true I can 'repair' things, it hurts quite a bit when they're disassembled. I've had enough of this."

Izuku had several small spikes digging into his body as he kneeled on the ground, blood dripping. (Y/N) was luckier, having a piece of concrete shield her. But she still hurt. 

Chisaki went on lamenting about how Mirio held on the same way Izuku and his teacher were doing when a mouth on of his hands cried out to his 'daughter'. 

"Because of you, I had to die again! Is this what you wanted, ERI?!"

The voice shook the little girl, and prompted her to run back to the man who had been her captor. She leaned against the rubble and responded. "That's...not what I wanted...!"

"Why...?! Stay away Eri! It's not safe!" (Y/N) called.

"Eri, you need to stay with Togata!" Izuku yelled.

"Eri...do you think this boy and his teacher can overcome this situation by themselves?" Chisaki asked.

"...no."

Then Nemoto's voice came from the hand, Quirk active. "In that case, what is it that you should do?"

"Come back...and in exchange...! You need to fix everyone back to normal...!"

"Indeed...rather than others getting hurt because of you. It's much easier for only you to be the one who gets hurt. You may have momentarily placed your hopes in Lemillion, but that fleeting hope that had begun budding within him has now been broken." Chisaki berated. "Have you realized it yet? Your actions were the cruellest possible thing you could've done to Eri, and for that,

"You are unwanted."

In his thoughts, Nighteye had his doubts due to his Foresight. He believed that they wouldn't be able to take in Eri, that he, Izuku, and (Y/N) would all be killed, and that Chisaki would escape.

But the clearness of Izuku and (Y/N)'s voice resonated within their hearts, Chisaki, and quite possibly Nighteye as well.

"Even so...!" Izuku took the rock from his leg into his hand.

"Even if you think it's none of our business...!" (Y/N) tied up her messy, (H/C) hair, and laid her hands at her side.

"You were crying!"

"NO ONE WILL DIE TODAY! WE WILL SAVE YOU!"

The rock in Izuku's hand was crushed in his palm, and (Y/N) enveloped her arms in flames.

The ceiling started to creak as if a heavy weight was bearing down on it. Then, the ceiling came crashing down. Ryukyu in her dragon form had a firm grip on the man that attacked them at the entrance. Ochako and Tsuyu accompanied her, floating down as the wreck fell.

Ryukyu, seeing Izuku and (Y/N), shouted, "Right on target!"

A short time ago...

Ryukyu and her group finally captured the man who attacked them at the front door, Rikiya Kastsukame. His Quirk allowed him to steal the vitality of people that he touched.

Nejire noticed all the racket going on inside. "It sounds like things are getting out of hand inside. Let's hurry!"

Nejire, Ochako, and Tsuyu ran towards the noise when they could feel their stamina draining. 

"I was sure I knocked him unconscious!" Ryukyu exclaimed.

Rikiya broke through his restraints, yelling, "Looks like that booster drug I got from Irinaka is finally starting to kick in...Now I can absorb...just by inhaling!" He punched down some trees. "All of a sudden, I feel like a new man!"
