Izuku grabbed one of the spikes and chucked it at Chisaki, while (Y/N) controlled a collection of debris and sent it flying towards the man. He blocked the attacks with ease, and Izuku grabbed another spike, driving it into Chisaki's palm. Chisaki disassembled it and reassembled it into an outbreak of spikes. Izuku collided his iron soles with the spikes, shattering it. 'I can't read his movements...! If it weren't for these iron soles I'd have gotten stabbed! It's not only his injuries, but also his stamina that has recovered too?!'
"Power and speed...is that it?" Chisaki questioned, but was interrupted by a stamp seal hitting him with full force.
"I'll take this guy on! Go take care of Lemillion and Eri-chan!" Nighteye ordered.
"I'll stay with you, Nighteye!!" (Y/N) declared, a ring of rocks surrounding her. "Make sure they're safe, Izuku!"
Chisaki made a move, but Nighteye threw two more seals and cut him off. Izuku nodded, following his orders. (Y/N) took water from her belt, and turned it into shards of ice, shooting them at Chisaki, who dodged.
"What did you do with Eraser? Your lackeys aren't here either." Nighteye pointed out.
"I've got a bit of interest in the Quirk-erasing agent, you see. We've escorted him to the VIP-room!" Chisaki claimed.
"You better stay the hell away from him!!" (Y/N) yelled.
"I wonder, could it be that someone so obsessed with destroying other's Quirks is terrified of having his own Quirk erased? When you talk about 'forever', that must mean your 'bullets' have been completed...and then you used one on Lemillion...?" Nighteye interrogated.
"Well, I was trying to keep everything a secret as I was running away, but..."
"So you were really that afraid of Lemillion, huh?!"
"Out of my way." Chisaki disassembled his arms and swung then at Nighteye and (Y/N) as they reassembled. Nighteye jumped sideways, (Y/N) jumped up and propelled herself with air.
'He's not particularly fast or anything, but his movements are similar. I see...so this guy's the teacher...' Chisaki thought. 'And this girl, she's who Akui is after...'
Nighteye thought back to a time in his office, where he gave Mirio some advice: to read the future, not as he did, but as he grew with experience.
'Mirio...you took my teachings to heart...You trusted in me and became stronger, and for that I am proud of you. And right now, all that matters to me is keeping you and the person you want to protect safe from harm...!!'
Izuku made his way to Miro and Eri, checking up on them. "Eri-chan! Senpai!! Can you move?"
"...Ah! Yeah...no sweat...!!" Mirio replied. "...I guess this is bumming me out after all..."
Izuku gulped. "...Let's get out of here!" He kicked open a hole in the wall. "It just got closed up moments ago, but this is the path that we passed through to get here! We've got to put some distance between us and Chisaki...! At the very least, it'll be safer than here."
Eri clenched her fist, whimpering. "Please...no more...I'm sorry."
Mirio and Izuku looked back for one second to see their teachers' states. Their eyes broadened.
Nighteye was activating his Foresight. The future he sees cannot be changed. He's tried many times in the past. No matter how desperately he tried to steer away the future he glimpsed. With enough time, surely enough, like a balance sheet governing the universe, things would always return to their natural flow. It would be just as if he inserted some extra scenes But the ending never changed. Could it be the very act of seeing someone else's future locked them into that fate...? Ever since he saw 'the death of All Might', he decided he would no longer read people's futures. He would only look a second into the future, and respond accordingly. He took whatever measures he could to deny Chisaki of the future that was almost within his grasp. And though he knew his actions were merely drawing out the inevitable, that was the best course of action he could take--but he had reached his limit. As if he were clinging onto something, Nighteye looked into Chisaki's future.
The man had a concrete spike pierce his stomach, and another severing his left arm. While (Y/N) had a thin spike right below her ribcage, and another poking through above her right collarbone. But her injuries were less life-threatening.
Amidst the scene of his likely defeat, he held onto a sliver of hope. That the girl would be saved, the boys safe, and Chisaki defeated and apprehended.
To see that future--
Nighteye was unmoving, and another wave of spikes came towards Izuku. He easily countered, stomping on the ground to squash out the targetted areas. He attacked with much more power than before.
'I can hear my bones and muscles creaking! My entire body is screaming out in pain! But...I can move!! My whole body hurts like hell, and I can't endure it for long. But still...I can move! One for All: 20%!!!'
"You guys coming here has only made things worse for yourselves. You do recognize this, right? Give it up. It's just going to turn out as I said it would. Everyone will die." Chisaki declared.
"I won't let that happen...! Even if that's what fate has decided!"
"Fate doesn't care about your plans!!" (Y/N) stood, with both spikes out and bandages covering the wounds. She flicked a switch in her mind, and a shockwave of power emitted from her body. Concrete pieces began whirling around her, wind blowing through her hair. Chunks of ice were at her back, and her fists were covered in bright vermillion flames. She shed her jacket and her belt, revealing the white suit she wore. Cuts and bruises littered her body, blood dripping down her mouth and forehead.
The two of them launched themselves towards Chisaki, a passionate look in their eyes.
"WE WILL BEND THE FUTURE!!!"
