Ch 19: Saving Eri - Part 6

"I thought I told you...I THREW THAT NAME AWAY!"

A small hole opened up behind Mirio, and it crumbled, as Izuku and (Y/N) burst through onto the scene.

Earlier...

"I'm glad we're not trapped in a living maze anymore. But now we can't tell which way's forward or back."

Nighteye spoke up, pointing to his right. "If you're referring to the way to Eri's room I've already ascertained it."

The H.O. ordered Irinaka to change the hallway back to normal, but all he did, in turn, was growl.

"The drugs must've worn off...Fatgum's earlier analysis was spot on. Irinaka's no longer able to wield the same power he was displaying before." Shouta implied.

"But don't you realize?! Toga and Twice...! The League must still be lurking somewhere close by!!"

"Toga. Toga...Twice...!! Damn them...!! Those backstabbing little shits!!!" Irinaka yelled.

"Where are the other League members?" Nighteye questioned.

"Like I know?!!! But I'll ferret them out, just you wait!! I'mma take each and every one of those bastards' heads an split 'em in two!!"

"I suppose that means...there are only two of them here."

The police were talking about how the League was a nationally wanted crime syndicate, and the agents were conflicted as to what to pursue: the League, or the Precepts. Until Rock Lock reminded them of their initial goal. "Forget about them and go! Leave the League to the police..!! Or did you forget our primary objective?!!"

"That would be the best course of action..." (Y/N) said.

"Somebody would've had to stick behind anyway, what with Irinaka tied up. That girly did a number on me; I'd be hurting a bit if I jumped back into the thick of it. If you get it, then get a move on!! Ryukyu and her group on the surface! The police officers who were split off from us in the underground! Suneater! Red Riot! Fatgum! Lemillion!! We've come this far, we just need one more push! Don't let the time everyone bought us go to waste!!"

"Don't worry Rock Lock! We'll save her for sure!" Izuku promised.

"You said you'd save her for sure, right!? I'll hold you to that, Deku!"

Izuku, Nighteye, Shouta, and (Y/N) ran off towards their goal. In the remnants of Irinaka's power display, Toga and Twice looked as the group split up.

"Aww...there they go." Toga complained.

"You know, we kinda have to find a way out of here, too...! Toga, kiddo, what do you wanna do now? Kiss?" Twice whispered.

"Izuku's bruised body, all battered up like that...I wanna see it again. But there's something else I wanna do just as much...I want to give Overhaul something to cry about." Toga revealed.

"In that case, I've got no idea. So listen up, cuz here's the plan!" Twice said, whispering the plan in her ear. She listened, giggling into her hands.

"Tomura will love that."

With the Nighteye group, they ran down a hallway, and found a door. The entered it, and found an unconscious man on the floor. The broke through the concrete wall, and it brought them to the present.

The group scanned the situation. The ground crumbling beneath Chisaki's hand, Mirio all beaten and bruised, and Eri wrapped in Mirio's cape.

Izuku saw Chisaki and punched his shoulder with One for All activated, pushing him back, with his teachers in close pursuit.
