Todoroki's POV

I'm walking to homeroom with Midoriya remembering that we were being assigned dorm rooms today. A part of me wishes we'd be assigned the same dorm room, but deep down I know I could never function properly knowing we'd share a personal space.

I feel Midoriya poke my side. "You excited bout' the dorms?" he grins.

I turn my head to look down at him, "Maybe a little," I hummed in response.

"Who do you think you'd get roomed with?" Midoriya asked, nudging my arm.

"To be honest," I sighed, "as long as it's someone other than Bakugo or Mineta, I don't care."

Midoriya chuckled, "Ya, I'd hate to share a room with Bakugo, he'd probably kill me in my sleep or something."

"Like I'd ever let him kill you," I said defensively.

A loud "tsk" comes from behind us. I turn my head to see who it was, and to my surprise it was the one and only Bakugo. I give him a cold look over my shoulder before facing forward again.

"I'll kill you both in your sleep with or without the damn room," Bakugo barks. "Oh and keep my fucking name out of your shitty mouths." He storms in between us and throws us a glare before marching off.

Midoriya gives me a look and I give him a shrug in response. I couldn't help but chuckle a little. The boy has a personality of a burnt chicken, dry as hell and no flavor. If I didn't grow up the way I did, I might've been intimidated by him just now.

                                                                                 Midoriya's POV

I'm kind of shaken up from what Kacchan had just said, I desperately don't want to be in  a room with him. Todoroki, on the other hand, seemed to be unbothered. I wish I had a calm and leveled head like him.

We arrive at homeroom just seconds before the bell rings. Mr. Aizawa, as normal, wasn't in the classroom yet. Todoroki and I part ways as we take our seats. Bakugo clicks his tongue as I walk by and take my seat behind him. I could just barely hear him huff damn nerd under his breath.

Minutes go by before the class quiets down as Mr. Aizawa comes rolling in through the door in his yellow sleeping bag. He stands up and hops to the podium at the front of the class.

"Alright, halt your conversations and listen up," Aizawa starts, "As you know, due to recent events, UA has decided to build dormitories for it's students. Class 1-A's building will be located on the far left of the campus. There will be 3 floors, the first floor containing the kitchen, common room, and library. The top 2 floors will house 5 rooms each."

Iida raises his hand and Aizawa nods in his direction. "Will there be a schedule for who cooks what?" he asks in a stern voice.

"Right, about the food, the staff will provide you with groceries weekly and it's up to you to cook with what's provided. You can use a schedule if you want to, but no one's forced to cook. If you choose not to eat the food in the dormitories, you can always pay for food in the cafeteria, your choice. Anymore questions?" Aizawa sighs.

"We're going to be rooming with people right? Are you going to tell us who we're rooming with or do we get to pick" Mina blurts out.

"I have a list of who lives in which room. Your first and second periods will be time used to move in and explore the new part of campus, when I call your name and room number you can head to the dorms." Aizawa states.

Everyone holds their breath in anticipation. Anyone but Bakugo, please I'm begging you.

"Room 101: Kirishima and Todoroki, Room 102: Uraraka and Yaoyorozu, Room 103: Jiro and Mina, Room 104: Iida and Denki, Room 105: Midoriya and Bakugo. These are the pairs and rooms on floor 2, you guys are dismissed," Aizawa declared.

I felt my heart sink into my stomach. No no no no why HIM? Out of all the boys I could've been roomed with why HIM? The people who's names were called stand up and grab their things.

"Oh and another thing," Aizawa added, "each dorm room has two bedrooms, a small living room, and a bathroom. Your stuff has already been delivered to your rooms as well." He waved us out the door and started on the list of people on the 3rd floor.

I grabbed my bag and dragged myself out the door. I'm a few steps out of the classroom when i feel someone tug me to the side. I turn around to see Todoroki looming over me.

"Hey," he starts, "will you be ok rooming with Bakugo? Should we try asking Aizawa for a room transfer?"

"Oh, I should be fine don't worry too much about me," I smile, trying to hide the fear in my eyes. He notices and sighs.

"Well, if anything ever happens, or you just feel unsafe, come to my dorm room. I'll let you crash there for as long as you need to," He reassures me. I grinned and nodded in response. Well at least I have a safe place to go to.
