2. Story
1. Introductions.
The beginning of a story is very important. It's good to have an interesting preface due to the fact that you want to capture your readers intrest fast. Make it as unique as you can.
2. Storyline.
Make sure you have an idea that is soley yours.
Take an arranged marrige story; it's okay to write about that even though others have, but almost all of them goes the same; emo-girl+mean preppy jock guy+filthy rich+huge house+hating eachother at first then they fall in love. Well, kinda like that anyway.
Make sure you have an idea of your own before you start writing. Of course we get inspired, so there can be things that are similiar as in other stories, but don't "rip off" a whole story with some slight changes. Sometimes, though rare, two people have the same idea and they are similiar because of that. But I think y'all know what I mean.
3. Characters.
If you're good at making up interesting characters you're golden dudes.
4. Description.
Description is very imporant, probably the hardest about writing. So, take your time and don't rush it.
Never write like this(A/N this is over-doing it but it gets my point through):
Bla bla bla bla bla bla...
So, I should probably tell you about myself. My name is Gena Mender and I'm 17. I have long silky brown hair and blue sparkly eyes. I'm 5'6'' with a toned ahtletic body. I look like Tyra Banks and everybody thinks I'm pretty, but I just think I'm average. I'm awesome at; singing, drawing, dancing, swimming, acting, piano, guitarr, drums, cheeleading and can speak 89 launguages.
What's wrong with this you ask?
1. Never write; "So, I should..." it sounds so B.
2. Never reveal this much about the situation in one go. Keep it mysterious.
3. Never describe your character with a famous name so they could go look at a picture. Sure you can chose the character to resemble Tyra Banks but what I'm looking for is; high cheekbones, narrow eyes etc.
4. If you want your character to have low self esteem make it believeable. In this you just hate the girl 'cause she sounds like she just want to be praised more.
5. When they have talents it's not believeable that they can do all that. Come on, it's a nice thought but how believeable is it really?
