Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon: Chrissy's Tale

Chapter One

Urgh...What... What happened? Where.... Am I? Ugh why does my head hurt so much?

I slowly opened my eyes my head was throbbing and my side ached so much it was antagonizing. My eyes slowly scanned the surroundings.

A forest? How did I get here?

My legs shook as I finally got onto my feet. My throat felt so dry I looked around for some place to drink I found a small creek close to me I slowly made my way over to the creek and took a drink when I realized something felt different. I looked down at my feet noticing I had four yellow paws.

Huh? Paws? Something is off here...

I looked into the water seeing a Fennekin looking back at me. Okay I'm a Fennekin. Wait how am I a Fennekin? I looked around so confused I needed to find some help I looked over to find three Pokèmon standing in a circle. I tilted my head and slowly made my way over to them.

"Um... Excuse me? Could you three help me?" I asked. They turned to me.

"Thief. Thief. Thief. Determinate." One said.

"Huh wait what? Determinate?!"I said backing up slowly.

"Determinate!!" Another said. They shot shadow balls at me I quickly ran to get out of that situation. I kept running until I met another Pokèmon.

"H-h-help me.... "I said out of the breath. The Nuzleaf turned to me and looked at me.

"What's the matter?" He said.

My mind was too shaken to process a response concise enough to explain everything. But as if to speak for me I hear a whizz of a distant beam from behind, which Nuzleaf notices as well. Swiftly, the Nuzleaf jumps in the way of the beam, the beam dissipating as soon as it makes contact with him.

"Good Gravy!"He cries out sounding shocked by how sudden the beam took damage to itself.

"Those Beheeyem are pretty angry. Whatcha do to make em cross with ya?" He asked.

"No idea... " I managed to say.

"Well I trust your word then follow me." Nuzleaf said. I rose to my feet and followed him. I looked ahead to see the Nuzleaf still trudging along the pathway. I've been following at a walking pace now.

I muster a breath. "Hey.... Um Nuzleaf... Wait can I call you that?"

"Hmmm?" He looks back at me. "Sure or Mr. Nuzleaf if you fancy. Ya also have a name ya go by?"

A....name? I quickly think of a name. "....Chrissy."

"Chrissy eh? I reckon that'll do." His lip curled up into a slight smile. "Anyways Chrissy I hope you aren't tired yet. The village is just a short ways from here.

"We're going to a village?" I said my head tilting to the side.

He nods. "Serene Village to be exact it's where I lived have to cross through this mystery dungeon though."

"Mystery Dungeon? Why is it a mystery?" I asked.

"I dunno never really asked why just stay close ya hear?" Nuzleaf said. I nodded and followed him.

"Something is coming!" I said hearing something running toward us.

"Huh what is it?"Nuzleaf said.
A Lilligant came coming at us suddenly a flame came from out of my mouth hitting the Lilligant.

Huh? Was that Ember?

It made the Lilligant really mad at me it attacked back. I fell down in the grass unconscious. When I woke up I was in a house.

"Oh your awake, go ahead and eat those berries they will give you energy don't worry I got them from my neighbors farm he didn't mind at all. So your feelin' better you can go to the school." He said.

"Huh a school? Here?" I said.

"Yep." He said.

I walked out of the house but as soon as I walked out I was knocked down.

"Urgh.... "I said laying on my belly on the ground.

"So Mr. Nuzleaf did bring a new Pokèmon here. A Fennekin you don't see many of Fennekins around these parts. I'm Ace." I looked up seeing a Riolu standing in front of me he held out his paw to me I took it and he helped me up.

"I'm Chrissy. Next time don't knock me down." I said.

"Heh. Sorry about that. " Ace said. "I was heading to school."

"Maybe I will join you." I said.
