Autumn. Such a beautiful, quiet, and peaceful time of year. As Emiline looked at her surroundings, she noticed the faint discoloration in some leaves, and the complete discoloration in others. She checked her bearing by locating Bear Tree. The same tree, in the same forest, that Emiline and her sister Lellioni used to climb as kids. Oh, how Emiline wished for her childhood innocence back. Where the only thing she had to worry about was what book to read next, or what prank to pull next. Ah, to be young again.

But not today, for today was not a day to be nostalgic. As quickly as Emiline thought of the memory, it was ripped away from her, by the reminder to run. You see, Emiline was not young anymore. She had to grow up too fast. As of now we find her speeding through the wooded thicket, searching for the rest of the League.

"Kirt! Laney! Gryf!" Emiline screamed as she ran.

"Over here!" Someone yelled.

Heading toward the source of the sound Emiline found her best friend Laney. Or, as everyone else called her, Lieutenant Lanet Newberry.

"Okay Director, what's our next move?" Lanet spoke.

"I have literally no idea." Emiline expressed.

"I guess we should find the others." Lanet declared.

So off they ran. Once again sprinting through the greens on the search for the rest of their team, and hopefully straight home. As they ran toward so called "safety", they picked up Agent Gryffon Tulk, and Agent Aries Sinhamn.

They sped ahead, Emiline in the lead, with their homebase in eyesight; when behind Emiline she heard,

"AHH! OW! HELP!"

Emiline skidded to a stop, and pivoted in the mud to see what happened. She gasped at the sight. Gryffon tied up against a great wide oak tree, looking exasperated and confused.

"What the hell just happened back here?" She demanded.

"I- I don't know. He just- he just screamed. And- and- and then he was there." Aries stammered.

"Calm your nerves Agent Sinhamn." Emiline directed.

"He probably stepped in a trap. Who knows how long this has been here." Emiline muttered.

And she was right. Directly under where Gryffon was standing was a line of wire, connected to a trigger that had to have fired the rigged arrow.

"Well, now we know we're dealing with a trickster, with a love for arrows."
