The Tragedy

Chapter 1

Imagine a big hill and a small town behind that hill yea that's where I live... Or lived before it happened, well let me tell you a story. It was horrible everyone was screaming, houses on fire and bodies everywhere. It is still unknown what caused such an outbreak but people had some various ideas, some thought Hitler was resurrected. Well you have to understand that this happened when people still believed in magic, ghosts, demons and vampires. Speaking of the devil some thought it was his fault and others believed other things or well thous who where left it's not many of us only around 20 people or so and before the tragedy there was 1000 of us so you can only imagine how many people died  

The day started like any other day, I woke up got myself breakfast and went of to work at the end of the day I went home and was about to got to sleep when I heard a scream outside my bedroom window so I decided it was best for me to go check it out, I got my knife on the way out always good to have something to defend yourself with am I right. I ran out and what I sawstill hunts my dreams, bodies where hanging from the roof and the stock outside where we used to hang ourcloths to let them dry of I walked further into to town and saw more bodies and children screaming and running to find their parents. I thought it was a good idea to go out of this village to let people know what was happening and maybe get some help so I walked all the way over to the bridge only to find it burnt downto cold ashes by the time I turned around everything was on fire. I ran as fastas could to the woods only stop and stare you never know what is hiding behind those shadows the things that grab you and you disappear forever and no one knows anything when they actually come looking for you they can find your dead body hanging down from a tree. 

I kept on walking further into the woods when I heard something I quickly turned around only to be faced by darkness then I heard the voice again but much closer.

"Hey you, yes you I'm trying to talk to you, I'm only trying to help I know a place here there are lot of people there that can help you if you would just follow me"

"And who might you be sir?"

"That's not important now my friend but what is important is that we get you out of here too a save place, do you have any children?"

"No I don't why you ask?"

"That doesn't matter cause we're here now take a seat cause it's about to start"

I took a seat where this man told me to sit and I don't really know where I am right now it looks like some sort of camps or something similar to that but to be honest I'm very glad that this man found me I've probably gotten lost but apparently something is about to happen so might as well listen to what this man or woman has to say.

"What do you see when you look outside? Do you see a perfect world, a world that you would want your kids to grow up in? Or do you see a world that needs to be fixed from all the horrific nightmares that this world brings us? This so called world wasn't always so ugly until those demons took over our world. Yes demons are real and yes the Devil himself is also real thou I'm not so sure about god anymore I think he left us a long time ago as bad as that sounds it's the truth. We all die in the end for sure but not today, those freaky demons will get paid tonight we will fight. Seeing what they did to our hometown tonight I lost it and I will do anything in my power to get our world back our old world like things use to be peace and quiet the only thing that was heard where children playing and the birds singing a world without fear of being dragged into the woods by those demons and being killed for something so stupid and for those who don't know my name, my name is Skyler and I'm the leader of the rebels and we are about to fight to claim our world back if you are not with me I do recommend you stay here with Mike he will keep you guys safe but if you want to fight with us we are happy to welcome you into our team we fight with honour this is our chance so take it, please stand up and come with me if you are ready to do this.

I guess I was wrong about demons not being real but I surly do agree with the lady named Skyler I don't want my kids to grow up in fear of dying I want them to grow up in a happy world yes I'm joining the team of rebels cause I'm more then happy to risk my life for this world to make it a better place if I die tonight I want you to remember that this is the only chance to do what needs be done so here goes nothing.

"Um hi, my name is Danny and will by your sight until the end if I may"

"Of course Danny welcome do you have any weapon with you if you don't that's okay we have plenty over here"

I do have a knife with me I'm pretty handy with those things so if you have a better one that I can use then yea sure"

"Great what kind of knife"

"I don't really know my dad gave it to me before he died"

"Oh dam I'm sorry man, would by any chance if I could see it"

"Is okay, sure"

"It is a pretty one for sure a hunter knife also that's good, was your dad a hunter or something like that"

"Yea he was actually but he never wanted be in on anything so that's pretty sad I really wanted to become a hunter like my dad, he never talked about what he was doing or let me see his journal, yea he took his journal everywhere he went didn't matter if it was to the market he had it and he was always working but he stopped when he got sick and a year and half of him laying in bed and stuff like that he died"

"That's pretty harsh childhood you got there Danny but one question do you have the journal with you right now or could you by any chance go grab it? we come with you obviously"

"yea sure if my house is not burnt to ashes then we can grab it I don't live so far from the woods it's going take like 15 minutes to get there"

"Then we don't have any time to waist lets go"

We started to walk and after about 15 minutes we where there, we all stood in shock what was in front us the whole village was brunt down to cold ashes expect my house I don't understand why they would spare it. I shook it of and walked inside my house it was trashed, chairs everywhere, broken glass, the kitchen was the worst of all everything was destroyed when I mean everything I mean literally everything, drawers and cabinets where open and everything that was in them was on the floor even freaking trash was on the floor apparently they where looking for something but clearly didn't find it. I walked to the one place where I knew no one would look and grabbed my dad's journal and ran back to skyler.

"What the hell took you so long man you where like 20 minutes in there I thought you knew where this journal was"

"Well I did but the whole place was trashed, everything was destroyed"

"Oh shit, clearly they've been looking for that journal of yours but good they didn't find it am I right"

Oh yes you are it's the only lead we got on finding them so I guess we better hurry before they destroy the next village"

"your right Danny we should go"

And of we went on the hunt to find thous demons. I promised my dad that I wouldn't become a hunter or anything like that I would just stay out of violence but after what those son of a bitches did to my father I sure promised myself that I would kill every last one of them yes my dad was killed by these so called demons, he was poisoned with something that killed him very slowly I had to watch him get weaker every single day and sure it did hurt and made me really angry so this is my only chance that I will get my revenge on those bastards.
