I am so sorry I haven't updated in forever. I found this in my docs from like 3 years ago so please don't hate me if it's trash.

(y/n)'s pov:

Ok so. 'Tom is painting a fence 100 feet long. He starts at the West end of the fence and paints at a rate of 5 feet per hour. After 2 hours, Huck joins Tom and begins painting from the East end of the fence at a rate of 8 feet per hour. After 2 hours of the two boys painting at the same time, Tom leaves Huck to finish the job by himself.

If Huck completes painting the entire fence after Tom leaves, how many more hours will Huck work than Tom?' " what the heck Tom, your friend Huck was going to help you with the fence and you leave him to do your job ? What is wrong with you? " I thought as I was finishing my math homework and listening to my mother yell at me for the millionth time tonight about the stupidest thing.

" (y/n)! I thought I told you to come downstairs!" my mother yelled from downstairs.

" no mother, you didn't. " I yell back.

" well, come downstairs anyway! And make some dinner. I WANT IT GOOD!"

After yelling back and forth with my mom for an hour, I just went on my computer to re- watch some AOT for the hundredth time and go to bed. I was woken up by a bright light. My eyes shot open and I saw a huge glowing figure, but I couldn't see the face.

" (y/n). I have been watching you, Your whole life and I see you

are not happy in this life. I want to give you another life, but you will be reborn. You may keep 1 thing from this life, but only 1 thing. Do you accept my offer? " the figure said in a deep, feminine voice .

I thought for a moment.

" y- yes."

" What are the thing you want to bring to the next world? "

" I- I want this necklace." I say holding up my leather string necklace with the wings of freedom, and a copy of Eren's key on it. The next thing I saw was a woman with flaming red hair and bright green eyes and the most beautiful smile I had ever seen.

I am on the side of the dirt road clutching my necklace- with the wind of freedom and this key; that I've had forever but I don't know where it came from- waiting to see the Survey Corps come back from a mission. My Brother Drake was a cadet. He was my best friend. My parents were the best parents ever but my brother was always there. When I had nightmares, when I got hurt. When I was sad he always made me laugh. He read to me every night. He was my best friend.

As the Survey Corps walked down the road everyone was cheering and whistling but I saw the sorrow on their faces. I looked for Drake everywhere but couldn't see him. The man in the front, caught a glimpse of mama and stopped everyone.

" Ma'am " he said softly. Mama and I walked up to the front. The guy gave us something wrapped in a green cloth. " I'm so sorry. "

Mama unwrapped it and covers her mouth with her other hand. It was a hand. I know it was Drake's because it had his silver ring that matched mine. We got these on our birthday since we had the same one.

I cried . Sobbed. punched. Kicked. Screamed. Cursed, and I swore that I would someday join the Survey Corps, and kill all the titans.

I looked at all the people around me that had just graduated.

" now we will be calling the names of the people who have made the top 11 from last to first. ( pretend it's 11 ). " said commander Erwin. " Krista lenz, Sasha Blouse, Connie Springer, Marco Bott, Jean Kristein, Eren Jaeger, Annie leonhart , Bertolt Hoover, Reiner Braun, (y/n) Barsotti, and Mikasa Ackerman. " I was so excited. We went back to our cabins early so we could make our decision in the morning, but I already made my choice. I'm joining the Survey Corps.

The next morning we moved to the hq' of whatever military force we joined. When we got there I noticed all the people who joined the Survey Corps as Well as me. The only names I knew where Eren Jaeger, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Alert, Jean Kristian, Marco bott, Krista Lenz, Ymir Fritz, And Sasha Blouse. 

 On our first day at training Sasha had to run All day because she was eating a potato during training.

 Armin was the smartest kid you'd ever met except for me. He wasn't far but he wasn't fit either. 

Jean was a desperate play boy who had a huge crush on Mikasa ( no one liked him but Marco.) . 

Marco was a kind shy boy who had a crush on Jean by no one knew but me because we were friends. 

Mikasa was quiet but deadly, and she made sure Eren or Armin weren't hurt or in trouble. 

Eren was a crazed titan- hating person like me but I was quiet about it. I'm quite anti- social and I like to surprise people with fighting skills. 

Krista was small and sweat, and Ymir had a liking for her.

After we were done settling in we were tested to see what squad we would be in. As we were walking to the training grounds, in saw a Short man with raven black hair and angelic yet expressionless face. I walked up to him.

" U-um, Sir? "

" tch. What do you want brat ? And it's Corporal Levi to you. "

I blushed " s-sorry corporal, I-I don't know where the training grounds are"

"Tch. Fallow me " I did as told and fallowd corporal to the training grounds

" there brat" he said once we got there

"th-thank you corporal "
