the Infection spreads

I was keeping a fast pace down the school Hall, the day was finally over and I went to meet up with friends. I made it out of the school and grabbed my skateboard. I rode down the street to a local coffee shop and saw Anderson. He smiled and waved and as he did so He fixed his dark brown hair that didn't go part his ears and it looked like it had a red tint to it once the sun shone through the window. His yellow shining of amusement. I knew that look and sighed I looked over and saw Cooper with his copper hair messy as always just like Anderson's it didn't pass his ears. His orange eyes showing life and joy. Cooper was kinda the group pet and he didn't mind. Mary ran up and gave me a bear hug. Her black short curly hair bouncing up and down. I laughed "your paying the bill your paying the bill" She sung over and over again and I smirked. "Well Carter isn't here yet." I smiled and I felt someone hug me from behind "Speak of the devil" I laughed and went to sit down with the rest of my group. "Alright Spanish test anyone got cheats? " Carter asked and I looked at him his gray eyes mysterious making me want to know more. I reached across to table where he was sitting and I ruffled his ginger hair. "In my bag but you gotta pay" I smiled "aww how? " He fake pouted and I smiled and sat back "You pay for us. " I smiled slightly and he grumbled "that's like $40!" I laughed along with everyone else "Well were 17 I think you can manage and you want cheats you gotta pay... Literally" He rolled his eyes and I smiled. The waitress came "hello" She smiled her face guarded and her hair was put back it was maybe a burgundy. She was our are maybe a new worker and I noticed she kept looking at Carter and I looked at her "Carmel Frappuccino Please"I blurted and she cleared her throat. " Right.. " She wrote it down and took the rest of the orders. She walked off and I looked out the window. I heard shuffle and I was confused but didn't mind. There was a few people laughing across the room 'they must be having fun' I thought and I felt strong arms pull me closer. I blushed slightly and turned to see carter. "Don't worry she had a smell of Cheetos linger on her. " We all laughed and I smiled. The waitress came back and noticed the change. She looked annoyed seeing how close we were and I smiled as she gave us our drinks. She winked at Carter and I growled lowly. She walked off and Carter looked at me "you ok? " I sighed "I'm fine" We all started to drink our coffees. I took the lid off mine and I licked the whip cream and Carmel from mine. I smiled as the flavors washed over my scenes. After a while we all finished and we all looked at Carter "Ugh fine." He grumbled and grabbed his wallet. I watched him put a fake $100 bill on the table. I stood and stretched. "Alright who's place are we crashing at tonight? " I asked. So we all have dark backgrounds. Carter lost his family in a bank robbery and he grew up alone till he met us. Anderson was abandoned as a baby and his foster family let the house so now it's just him... Until he lived in with Mary his new girlfriend. Mary ran away at the age of 15 and she got a job and still goes you school... Coopers parents were killed in front of him and my mother went crazy and my father is a drinker. We all thought "Alright" I sighed no one wanted to say so we vote "I say Mary" I voted and a few people said Cooper but more votes for Mary. We already kept things over at all of our houses, so we just had to go and didn't have to tell anyone where we were. I smiled and he smirked. Sadly we got caught with the fake money. "Run! " I yelled and smiled.  We all bolted to our bikes and skateboards. The bikers took off and the rest of us followed. "Get to Mary's! " I yelled and everyone yelled there agreement and we took a sharp left the owners now chasing us on foot. "Man they really want there money! " I yelled and I stopped at my house "Keep going I'm grabbing my bike! " I yelled and ran inside. My father was asleep "good" I whispered and walked out back. I grabbed my bike and got on. I rode out and I met up with everyone. They moved so I could lead and cars honked and I kept going. We finally got to Marys and we all went to the backyard and got off the bikes. We all ran inside and sat down keeping low just in case. I waited a good 10 minutes and I got up. I walked over to a white board and I put another tally up with a whiteboard marker. There was now 5 tallys. "5 times we didn't pay" I laughed and we all clapped and cheered. See we didn't have a problem with not paying we never got caught so we didn't fear it anymore and we considered it good now. "Alright.... Sleeping spots. " I said and everyone darted to where they wanted to sleep including me. I made it to the spare bedroom and I smiled. Carter walked in and saw me "Ugh really" He grumbled and turned to walk put. "Wait" I said and turned around "what? " I made room on the bed and he sat down on it "let's split the bed no way im sleeping out there." I pointed out the door where everyone was arguing over the best places. Carter nodded and I walked into the closest looking for somethings to wear to bed. I hummed and grabbed a tank top abd some shorts. I moved and Carter walked up and he grabbed basketball shorts and walked into the bathroom and I changed in here. After a moment I finished and sat on the bed and Carter walked in shirtless. I acted like I Didn't notice. I looked at my hands and I made fits "Do you ever wonder... If we could get away? Away from all of this madness... Our pasts our family's all of it" I said and he looked surprised "well... I thought of it but I never thought we could get away. " He walked over and sat next me. I smiled and layed my head in his lap. He smiled and I smiled back. I closed my eyes and I started falling asleep. The last thing I remember was stroking my hair and muttering to himself.

I was still sleeping and I felt something lick my face. I grumbled. I opened my eyes and the adjusted to the dim window light. I opened my eyes to see Charlie licking me "Ugh dumb bull dog" I said and noticed I was cuddled up to Carter "oops... Forgot I fell asleep" I mutter and blushed. I carefully got up without waking him. I grabbed a fuzzy blanket and covered myself up and got the dog out and I waited for him to finish his business. He walked in and I closed the door and I turned around and was embraced in a warm hug. "Hey sleepy" I laughed as I hugged Carter back. "Let's get ready for school" I said and he let go. "Ok" He grumbled and I walked into the bathroom. I got in the shower and washed off the nasty feeling being dirty now gone. I got out and I smiled and I wrapped myself in a fluffy towel. I passed Carter and he closed the door. I walked in the room and quickly changed into school clothes

arter came out a moment later and I smiled "looking better" I laughed

I got up and I walked past him. I walked to the kitchen and started making breakfast. A few minutes later the house came to life. Anderson and Mary we're laughing and running around the house getting ready together. Me and Carter quickly moved past each other while we shared the kitchen space. Cooper was playing with the dog and after 15 minutes of it I grabbed the Airhorn we always used for when the house was like this and needed to get there attention. I blew it and everyone stopped and covered there ears including Charlie he moved to the ground pawing his ears. I let go and everyone looked "Breakfast! " I smiled  and I gave everyone there plates. I got Charlie his dog food. He barked and chowed down. About half a hour later I stood "one more minute then we clean up!! " I yelled realizing Anderson and Mary were eating somewhere else. We all quickly finished and put the dishes in the sink. 10 minutes later we were finally ready to go. "Alright my place tonight" Cooper said smiling and we cheered as we walked out. We weren't just a bunch of Random teenagers we were so family... Who dated each other... We all got on our bikes and I waited "Alright meet at Coopers after school" I said and everyone agreed. I was the first one to drive off down to school and we all sang some songs stuck in our head and I sped up along with everyone else. I closed my eyes feeling the wind and I heard a honk. I opened them to see a bus in front of us. I slammed on my breaks and everyone rammed into me the blur happened so quickly I saw my friends crash along with me "Help" Was the last thing I managed...Then it was darkness
