Danielle hasn't called or texted me for 2 days. She hasn't been to class or work. I been to her house 5 times.

"So you ain't talked to her,"I ask Makayla.

"No she ain't answering the phone"

"Don't you have a key to the house"

"You tryna go over there real quick"

"Yea"

We both get up and get in my car. Since her apartment was only 1 block away we got there fast. Makayla pulled the key out and we went upstairs.

"Ready"

"Yeah"

She opened the door and the house was filled with tissues and dishes. Then I heard Danielle cough.

"DANNY,"I yell.

She came out the back with a cover wrapped around her. She was sniffling and looked very tired.

"How y'all get in here,"she said in a scratchy voice.

"Don't worry about that you look horrible,"Makayla said.

I look at her like she was stupid. She did look bad but she said it rudely.

"Really," I say looking at her with a unbelievable face and voice.

"It's true"

"I know how I look Kayla. That's why I haven't left home"

I walk up to her and place the back of my hand on her forehead.

"Your burning up"

"But I feel so cold,"she said adjusting the covers on her.

"Okay I'm gonna go get you some medicine and soup,"Makayla said walking out the door.

"Wait Kay,"Danielle started but stopped.

"What's wrong," I asked in caution.

"I don't need to be taken care of I'm fine"

"Danielle you clearly sick and as your boyfriend I need to take care of you"

She started coughing and I led her to the couch.

"Have you taken Sammy out today"

"No. I did yesterday"

"Okay I'll make you some tea then I'm going to take her out"

"Okay,"She laid down on the couch closing her eyes.

I smile and get up walking into the kitchen.

Danielle pov...

Being sick is the worst fucking thing ever and since I was contagious i couldn't go to class and work. I hate sitting at home doing nothing.

"Baby,"Chad said lightly.

I open my eyes slowly and see Chad sitting over me. I was in my room.

"You carried me in here"

"Yeah. I didn't wanna wake you"

I sneeze and my throat started hurting bad.

"I made you some soup"

"I'm not hungry"

If I ate something my throat would hurt even worse than now. I can't even swallow.

"Come on babe you gotta eat something"

"My throat hurts"

"This'll make it feel better. Now come on"

He put the spoon to my mouth and I eat it.
